"Great stay here at this calm monastery. Lots of walking and hiking trails, great restaurant and breakfast. Had a great beer at the Brauerei that is very close. Shower was spacious and plenty of warm water. "
"Amazing stay in a beautiful place. The interior design felt new and clean with thoughtful, modern touches. We had the place to ourselves during a rainy week and really enjoyed the breakfast and proximity to wonderful adventures. The owners were helpful and friendly and made our stay very comfortable. "This hotel was a little gem in a fairly rural area. Located approximately thirty-minutes from the airport, by taxi or by train but absolutely adorable. We had a very nice Swiss breakfast and loved our canopy bed and modern shower/bathroom. We would definitely stay there again. "
"The Schafli is a companion hotel to the Hotel Uzwil which is a good 4*.
Breakfast was at the Uzwil, a 10 minute walk but worth it as an above average breakfast in a lovely clean restaurant.
The bedroom at Schafli was clean, good sized shower room and functional. No staff on site and seems to cater over business overnight customers.
Very handy for the excellent rain service across Switzerland and cheaper than Zurich"
