"I wouldn’t consider this area safe and would not recommend as a honeymoon destination. It was very noisy at night time, constant horning etc. There were insects everywhere, including indoors, lizards, ants, worms etc. Mary was very kind and ensured we had breakfast however, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience due to the location being very noisy and the cleanliness. "Amazing house right on the water, 20 minutes from Stone Town in Zanzibar City and 90 minutes from the east coast. Great Sunsets from house. The owner was very helpful arranged airport transportation and even secured us a rental car. When returning to Zanzibar will definitely stay here. "
