The room had an awful smell, almost like the room had been repeatedly smoked in to the point where my clothing still smells after a couple of washes following my stay. The rooms are also far more dated than the pictures advertised. The only real positive was the friendly staff at the desk and the location.

Super friendly team. Quite location but yet very convenient to most places with a car. Nice and quiet at night.

Beautiful place absolutely enjoyed every moment loved the hotel! The manager was awesome! Amazing reception and amazing service! I just loved having somewhere to stay while we were im Chch for Juicy Fest! You get 5 stars from me and i would come back more than once :) thank you

Didn't like the shower over the bath, as we are an older couple. Also when we came back , after going out for dinner, getting a park wasn't easy, only 1 space left, & as someone else hadnt parked properly, we could barely fit our car in. However we were only there for 1 night, so was okay.

Got a free upgrade! Lovely room! Only problem is, its right on 1 of the 4 avenues that border Hagley Park & so up until midnight, the road was very noisy. All went quiet after that though. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was tidy but could with an update. All in all we had a lovely nights stay. Thank you

The property was lovely and clean. The only issue was the shower head is very low, but the water pressure was amazing. Locality suited me well at it is centrally based for everywhere I was going.

Everything is as more than satisfactory except the smell of the cleaning product that is used when servicing the room. As soon as you open the door the smell ( Albeit sanitised)hits you. It’s ammonia based, same as my mother uses. Either Exit mould or 30 seconds… I’m not sure. Either way the odour could be neutralised with something more pleasant As I mentioned, apart from that, very satisfactory. Would stay again
