However, the cleanliness was lacking, especially the bathroom which was very dirty and smelled like stale urine. In the second bedroom there was large patches of mold on the walls. The floors would benefit from a thorough clean as the grout which should be white was black and the floor was covered in hair and crumbs in...

"A week before, I was told the original property we booked had been double booked so we were put in La Saulaie - a dark cottage deep in the woods. Whilst I was told it was a newly renovated cottage, some parts had been refurbished but the bathroom and toilet were not up to the same standard. Wi-Fi was terrible. It was clearly not up to the same standard as the cottage I had booked. Pool was lovely though at the main complex that was 5 minutes away by car."

"Really nice stay. Made to feel welcome. Tucked right in the forest a long way from the next building. House and facilities good. Pool really lovely (5 min drive). Need to plan to eat out, going shopping etc as nothing in walking distance. Lots of animals to spot in the woods"
