This venue is truly a family home. The family lives in and runs the Villa. They were lovely hosts. The villa itself is a historic home and the family offered us the chance to read about its history, which made our stay even more memorable. If I am ever in this area again, it would be a place I would gladly return to.

Absolutely Charming and Delightful

This was a highlight of our 2-week trip to France. The chatelet and property are just beautiful, and, as a musician, the history of the property was just magical. The host is so welcoming and generous with her advice about local attractions. She made us dinner reservations at a charming bistro that was the best meal of our trip, and sent us on the most wonderful local drive. Breakfast was perfect. If you are near Compiegne, you won’t regret a night or 2 or 3 at the Villa du Chatelet.

Excelente atención, te hacen sentir en casa, Alix nos dio muy buenos consejos para visitar, el desayuno excelente, nos hubiera gustado Talvez un poco de algo salado, el jugo fresco y las mermeladas caseras con pan francés, increíbles! La zona es hermosa y la casa muy bien cuidada! Alix nos mostró la casa y nos contó su historia. Disfrutamos mucho la estancia

Maison de rêve

Lieu exceptionnel, une maison de caractère ayant appartenu à Léo Delibes, nichée au calme dans un jardin verdoyant, tout près de la forêt. Se réveiller avec le chant des oiseaux est un vrai bonheur. La chambre avec terrasse est confortable et pleine de charme. Toute la maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et chargée d’histoires. L’hôte fait preuve d’une gentillesse rare, nous a recommandé d’excellents restaurants et des lieux à visiter. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable.
