"Wonderful experience at this hotel which is in a renovated palazzo. The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Marisa who recommended the zucchini pizza at the restaurant around the block. The room was fine, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was laid out the grand ballroom and there were many options to choose from in the buffet. We felt very well cared for from start to finish. Our only regret was that we were just staying one night. We wish we could have stayed...

"Hotel Eremo is a former monastery. You are greeted immediately by name by the friendly staff. The property is serene, dining is available outside in a courtyard, at the pool, in your room. There is an amazing breakfast buffet. There is a spa or cooking classes by the chef which need to be reserved in advance. It is necessary to have a car to visit the beach or surrounding towns. We also drove to the oldest winery in Sicily for a tour, tasting, and lunch."

Frukosten helt ok. Synd att äggröra, bacon mm inte hölls tillräckligt varmt. Middagarna var mkt fina och med varierande rätter. OBS! Vi hade halvpension. Shuttle-service till stranden var super och ett måste (annars måste man ha hyrbil). Dessutom gratis tennis samt padel (gällde inte kvällar)"

"Lovely old hotel with a lot of character. We were only there for one night but had a good night’s sleep. We were late to check in but there was good communication with the representative who very kindly waited for us (for a fee for late check in after 8pm). They were also very kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases at their office for the day whilst we e loved Scicli which was and chanting little town."

Chosen on the basis that we were arriving late and they had a manned late night reception. From our quick impression, gardens seemed charming and breakfast was nice. "Cute room, great comfy bed! AC worked great, as well as the shower. A big plus to have a fridhe in the room. I had some issues with the key but the host was always ready to help and quick to reply within a minute. The area is in the middle of beautiful Modica. I travelled alone (woman) but felt very safe in the area even late in the evening. Will stay here again!"
