This hotel is really cute. Super clean, nice hosts, good breakfast and a walk from the main square and the elevator to the fortress.

Brit Hotel Chinon le Lion d'Or
The room was dated but clean and quiet and the hotel provided everything we needed for a one night stopover breaking a very long car journey. Breakfast was good.

After seeing mixed reviews I had been concerned but for the price we paid this place is amazing. We were lucky to have been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt, which I would book first time if we came again as see that the one bed would be small for 4.
