About this property

Gîte insolite ''La Colibri''. A trailer in the heart of nature.

  • Bienvenue à Riezès ! Les roulottes sont situées sur une jolie propriété dans un petit village isolé et très calme.
    Le confort et les équipements sont exceptionnels pour un hébergement dit ""insolite", rien ne manque tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.

    Vous recherchez avant tout le calme et le repos ? Vous êtes au bon endroit !
    Si le temps le permet, vous disposez d'un jardin privatif avec le mobilier adapté, un BBQ et un brasero. Un grand jardin "commun" dispose d'un espace zen avec le sauna, le jeu d'eau et le bain nordique (disponible au-dessus de 10° à l'extérieur), ainsi qu'une véritable piste de pétanque.
    La roulotte est spacieuse et dispose de tous les équipements possibles sauf la télévision, volontairement oubliée dans ce lieu où nos hôtes viennent chercher la déconnexion. Un accès WiFi gratuit est cependant disponible.

    Le village de Rièzes culmine à 325 mètres d'altitude et se situe à 10km de la ville de Chimay. Il se trouve également à quelques minutes de Rocroi, ville fortifiée française. L'abbaye de Scourmont est à 4 km. Les Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure sont à 20 minutes. A proximité également se trouve le lac de Virelles et son Aquascope pour les amoureux des oiseaux. Le Grand Canyon est une attraction locale populaire. Sans oublier le Chemin de Fer à Vapeur des 3 Vallées à Mariembourg ou la Brasserie des Fagnes à Couvin.
    Une multitude de sentiers de randonnées sont facilement accessibles et nous avons même des cartes détaillées et explicatives à votre disposition.
    Faites-vous du vélo ? A vous les balades à travers champs et bois, la région est magnifique pour les amoureux de la vraie nature.

    Vous souhaitez déguster le plus possible sans cuisiner... nous vous proposons des petits déjeuners (salés et/ou sucrés) et même une restauration simple (pizza artisanale fabriquée à Virelles) ou complète (apéritif, entrée, plat, dessert et vin) réalisée sur mesure. mesure") pour le dîner du soir.

This is am amazing property and the hosts Marc and Nathalie so welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights and arrived really late the first night because of car trouble. Marc checked on us during the afternoon as he knew we were waiting for a tow truck. We did not get there until 10pm but Marc was so friendly and understanding, he even had a few Chimay beers for us given what had happened. The cabin is so well fitted out and has everything you need. The breakfasts supplied are beautiful fresh breads, cheeses, hams, jams and great coffee. In the morning you can sit outside and watch the cows in the next paddock and at night you can relax and watch the stars. It’s a short drive into the town of Chimay. A very relaxing place, with great hosts. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay again.
