My wife & I stayed in rm 106. Thru out the nite we had a loud intermittent ‘Jack hammer like’ sound every 30 minutes duration 45 secs. NO SLEEP WHICH WAS BAD ENOUGH ON EVE OF MY MOM’s funeral next day. complained to clerk and hotel manager no offer to move us. HORRIBLE NITE !!! told by manager it was an air compressor located proximal to our room. We deserve a refund for this calamity. Mgr told us you all would do that since we prepaid thru you. NOTE: we still used Expedia for our stay in Mount Vernon Illinois next nite. Hopefully you can do the ‘right thing’

I had no kleenex inbthe room for the 2 night stay, and my room was not cleaned after the first night. Otherwise room was very nice and very quiet.

Suite was a waste.
I pd extra for the suite with the couch, which the room had. But there was no tv in that part of the room, and no coffee table. I was expecting to be able to sit on the couch to watch the tv, but instead had to sit on the bed, which was what i paid extra to avoid. The hotel is nice and the room was clean, but i was very dissatisfied with the room. Was not at all what I expected for $175.

Kinda scary
We arrived late and the parking lot activity was pretty sketchy. Several people wandering the lot and I’m pretty sure there was some illegal soliciting. Kind of scary but not many options in the area. The floor of our room was disgusting and the shower was a joke.

Worth it!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in north-central Missouri. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were impressively friendly. The breakfast was unexpectedly good for a complimentary breakfast. The only negative I would say is that the hallways could use a re-fresh; they were a little musty. Otherwise, a great stay!

1st floor room, very damp and musty feeling/smelling. The iside door to bathroom was peeling up at the bottom. The TV had 1 working channel. Not even a good channel. At 4a.m we could easly hear the person above us walking back and forth constantly. Breakfast was good. That room was way to small though. Very dissappointed for a fabulous rated hotel and the price we paid.

Nice & clean too!
A very clean property and comfortable beds with lots of pillows. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way and we were given a list of restaurants available as well. Go to Captain Dans for excellent bar- b-q! We will stop here next time we are through the area. Thanks for a restful night!

Convenient and comfortable
Absolutely fine. Comfortable + clean. Traveling with a dog and appreciated getting a ground floor room right next to an exit door. Overlooked Walmart parking lot, but better than being on third floor. Wish there had been some nearby restaurants (besides McDonald's), but very convenient as it's right off the freeway.

Comfortable place to rest.
The room is clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious for a business trip. What more can a person ask. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast isn't extensive but something for everyone and its free. So i recommend it. We have stayed here many times and will stay many more

A good choice
The room is clean and quiet. What more can you ask of a hotel. The bed is also comfortable with good pillows. The lady that checked us in was so friendly. Breakfast was prettu good. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, along with many other items. So this hotel has a recommendation from me. This is our 2nd stay here. Its good enough to get our return business.

I wish the handicap shower curtain had weights on it as the floor gets extremely wet when while taking a shower. The sidewalk by the handicap paking/pool side needs to get fixed. Staff were very friendly, helpful and ploite.

Unexpected stay.
Bed was just awful. It was hard, old, and I could feel every spring and button. Pillows were mediocre. Staff was good and helpful. Didn’t partake of breakfast so can’t make an opinion there. Coffee in the lobby was great.
