"Everything we needed was provided. We did bump our heads a couple of times on the low door frames and had to take care upstairs, because of the different levels of steps. We purchased a weekly parking permit to park in the public parking area by the rec center. When we needed to load/unload it was challenging at times to navigate the car down the narrow street, especially with some parked cars sticking further out. Overall though a lovely cottage."

Parking directly outside the house was a challenge most days but we could always find a space a short distance down the road. House is cozy, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended -- we would definitely stay there again! One caution -- the stairs are extremely steep and would likely be a challlenge for anyone with mobility issues."

"Low Tide is very convenient for the beach and Aldeburgh’s excellent High Street, with its own off-road parking. It is a rather small property although we found it both warm and quite comfortable for two. My only gripe is that we both found the mattresses rather too hard for a comfortable nights sleep!"

Minor concerns - size of television, condition of kitchen tap also although the parking arrangements are clearly stated within the house book they are not clear online. The latter just says that there is parking for 2 cars but more accurately one of the cars has to be small. We had to park the second car on the road, no problem as we were out of season but it could be a problem at busier times. Overall though we all had a very enjoyable stay."

Warning: The stairs are steep and our disabled son had difficulty negotiating them but he was alright with our support."

"This was my second visit. I love staying here. The staff are most welcoming, as are the locals. The hospitality, food and beers are all excellent. The hotel building, bar, restaurant and grounds are most pleasant. The cuisine was served quickly and is very tasty. It is in a lovely place, which is quiet and also not too far from the town. It is also easily accessible. Very easy going and no complications. If I go to Ipswich again I will stay at The Sorrell Horse again!"

"We enjoyed a lovely quiet couple's getaway while we went to the Ed Sheeran concert in Ipswich. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. The town centre is in walking distance and has some really nice and reasonably priced cafes. There is a short walk to a pebble beach and beautiful gardens. "
