"We went there as an alternative to staying in an ibis , the renovation of this chateau was great, although the rooms are hot no air conditioning or fans provided, we asked about dinner and they said yes but the meals were limited and we’re heated by a micro wave , the staff tried hard and we’re pleasant , when we got there the door was locked (after 4.00pm) and took a while to get in touch with them. "

"A most charming place to stay nestled in the hills of the Massif Central, this was formerly the village school house and retains many original features. Dinner was provided by the hosts and was particularly well received. Breakfast was basic but no less delicious for that."

"2 nuits hors du temps comme un retour aux sources qui fait du bien. Un petit hotel qui reste dans son jus d'authenticité avec de vrais gens tres loin du tourisme de masse et des hôtels moderne et sans ames. "This place was wonderful! It was spotless, comfortably warm (early spring), breakfast was great. The owner is absolutely delightful. There was even a place to park the car. Wonderful bathroom with shower. And for us most importantly, it was quiet. The stars were beautiful at night too. We plan on returning."

"The restaurant in this nice hotel is excellent and well worth a detour to enjoy. Great food, very nice presentation, local and high quality produce, both for the evening meal and the delicious buffet breakfast, the latter is the best value I have had in a long time! There is a great wine list and the waiter is knowledgeable and helpful. The staff are friendly and they have made a great effort to provide top quality and value. The hotel rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended. "
