Surrounded by lakes, mountains, and the most beautiful Bavarian nature, you’ll find EVERYTHING your heart desires here: places to enjoy, cultural sites like Salzburg or Herrenchiemsee, a wide variety of sports and recreational activities, or simply lakeside beaches to relax on.

Lake Chiemsee, also known as the “Bavarian Sea,” offers a wide variety of water sports, destinations such as Herrenchiemsee and Fraueninsel, and beautiful bike rides. Adjacent to the lake are the Chiemgau Alps, a paradise for hikers and cyclists in the summer and for skiers and ski tourers in the winter. Salzburg, with its castles, the Red Bull Arena, and the famous Getreidegasse, or the Berchtesgadener Land region with Königssee, the “Stone Sea,” and towering mountain peaks, are just a few of the popular destinations in the area.
