Cypress Crab Cottage in Steinhatchee! 1 bed, 1 bath, screen porch, full kitchen

  • The newly remodeled Cypress Crab Cottage is quaint and cozy! A 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage with a queen size bed, leather pull out queen couch bed, foosball coffee table, breakfast area and full kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a large sink, gas stove, microwave, and fridge. Outside is a covered propane grill with a side burner for cooking. Near the bathroom, there is a large closet and bench. The bathroom has a walk in shower, pedestal sink, and elongated toilet. Outside, there is a large private screened porch with a picnic table and seating area. A fire pit in the center of the yard is available to use. Also, a new4 hole putting green and all weather cornhole court for your use.It is shared with the Cypress Crab House on the same property.

    The cottage has it's own circular driveway and entrance. There is a small boat launch 1 block north of the cottage. Smaller boats and kayaks can be launched here to go up river or out to the gulf.

The cutest house with EVERYTHING anyone would need for a long weekend. The screened in porch was so nice and the extra special items left for guests was an added bonus! Perfect weekend getaway destination.

Steinhatchee stay

Decorated super cute. Myself and husband and adult son stayed, we all fished and would have liked a place to clean the fish but because some bad apples don't clean up after there selfs we were not allowed. There was a place we were able to go and clean the fish, but it would have been more convenient if we could have cleaned them there, but that is what happens when people are not responsible. A small clothes line would be great to hang up.our wet clothes, but we managed. Overall the cabin was clean, it is a bit small for 3 adults, no privacy for the bedroom area. This place is perfect for a couple, and they have another place that is super big, so maybe next time.

Amazing spot

Scalloping and Fishing Fun

This is a charming, comfortable and well appointed cottage. The decor is eclectic and the amenities are all top notch from quality toiletries, soft towels, comfortable bed, ability to watch TV from our Netflix account and a beautiful kitchen with great appliances. We cooked one night out of three and had everything we needed. The outdoor spaces are also inviting. We enjoyed the screened porch, but didn’t have a chance to use the nice looking gas grill. Our host was readily available for questions and help. We were allowed to park our boat and truck at the property prior to check-in while we fished with a friend on our arrival day. We will definitely consider a return trip to the cottage or their house if we bring family and friends! Thank you for a nice stay.

Great little place!

We had a very nice stay this past weekend for a scalloping trip. The location was great, less than 10 minutes from the marina, and very easy to find. Check-in was super easy with great communication from the owner. We were pleasantly surprised to find snacks and cold bottle water available for us, as well as travel sized toiletries. Totally unexpected, but very appreciated since I forgot to pack lotion. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed. The A/C unit was easy to use and super cold. Also, the fan on the screen porch was great in this unbearable Florida heat. I brought a power strip because you never know how many outlets to expect and with all our devices that need to charge I figured we would need it. Nope, this place has so many outlets and USB plugs! It is small, as shown in the pictures, but it’s absolutely perfect for a couple or small family. I could definitely tell the owner takes the time to make your stay extra special. We had no complaints at all. Thanks for such a great, clean place to stay. Will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.
