The room & bathroom were quite spacious and clean. The property was very quiet with only a few other rooms. I would not use “spa” anywhere in the description of this hotel. The overall property was underwhelming and not a good location for what we needed.

Could use some work and honesty on description

I don't know why it was labeled as a spa, it is not. There was a hot tub in the back yard but it wasn't filed. There was no one there that spoke English. The bed and the pillows were hard as a rock. There's also no way to really get in or out of the town unless you have a car. The staff were nice enough. The breakfast was decent. I wouldn't stay again just based on the comfortability of the room. We woke up in serious pain and it felt like we were sleeping on wood. We had a hard time falling and staying asleep.

They advertised it as a spa, nothing there but a tiny hot tub with some candles on it. Who ever took pictures of the place did am amazing job to make the place look like it was a cool place in the middle of nowhere. I don’t like it when the owners hoover around you, they lived there, their room was next door. We thought it was more a spa hotel type , but not. We felt we had to whisper and tip toe around. Out of all the hotels and places we have stayed, this one was a definite no no. The night we arrived it was very dark and chucking down with rain. The my husband went to check in and they charged him the full price of the room, even though we had paid Expedia already and the only thing owing was the local tourist tax of 3:20. When Expedia tried to call they refused to credit us back. It’s now been an on going battle. Don’t fall for the pictures, there are so many other nice places around with in a few minutes drive of the place. There were no restaurants or anything close by walking distance. Found the people who run it very fishy. We felt very uncomfortable. Thank goodness I had only booked one night. Originally we had planned to stay 3 nights.

Tristezza e amarezza

Già dall’arrivo si capisce che le foto del sito sono ingannevoli,la struttura si trova in mezzo alle case del centro. La camera si presentava sporca come anche il resto del casale. Ci siamo affidati e fidati delle recensioni di altri ospiti ma la delusione era imbarazzante. La gestione della struttura risulta sporca e svogliata.Non mettete il naso in cucina…”orrore “. Le torte della colazione rimangono esposte per giorni con un semplice foglio di carta sopra. Peccato che un luogo che ha del potenziale sia gestito nel modo peggiore.

La struttura e’ recentemente ristrutturata , camere nuove . Dalle foto tuttavia sembra una struttura molto grande , in realtà e’ una villetta adibita a b&b , non un hotel , non un resort . Nel complesso e’ carina ma il prezzo sproporzionato .

Per i nostri fine-settimana di coppia a Chianciano, in passato ci siamo sempre rivolti verso strutture ricettive tradizionali, mentre per l'ultimo week-end abbiamo voluto provare un B&B, e nello specifico, " l'Antica Quercia Villa & Spa". Se già dalla visualizzazione del luogo sul sito web si potevano intravedere ottime potenzialità, al momento dell'arrivo nella struttura abbiamo felicemente constatato quanto la ns.scelta fosse stata giusta! Un rustico inserito nel centro della città termale perfettamente e sapientemente ristrutturato secondo i classici criteri toscani quali facciata in pietra e pavimento in cotto, interni eleganti e piacevole stile degli arredi. la camera che ci è stata assegnata è risultata bella e spaziosa così come il bagno, peraltro assai funzionale. Colazione al top con torte fatte in casa e poi...estrema simpatia e disponibilità del gestore Sig.Davide, che contribuisce significativamente ad allietare la permanenza nella struttura.

La chambre est confortable mais le petit déjeuné n'est vraiment pas au rendez-vous : trop simple et avec des produits low costs de la grande distribution. De plus l'hotel se vend comme "spa" avec sauna jakuzzi, hors l'acces est de 30 euros par personne donc arnaque. La grotte termale de montepulciano est à 30 euros pour deux avec une bouteille de vin offerte et une tisane.

Left a day early and went somewhere else

Nestled on a suburban corner in the shadow of imposing, rectangular cement apartment buildings, any charm of this Tuscan style house is eclipsed by its unsightly neighbouring buildings and the general kitsch and shabbiness that comes from using cheap Zara Home furnishings, and having grounds with a fountain with stagnant water and unkempt lawns. The room was basically clean and had the necessary facilities and the staff were reasonably helpful. But we were not shown a spa or fitness center, and there was no relaxing ambience to the place. The local area feels like an 80's style tourist resort that's well past its heyday. If Google's suggestions for the best things to see in Chianciamo Terme are actually in Montepulciano, then really should be all you need to know about the surroundings.

유명한 토스카나 드라이브 코스가 숙소에서 10분거리. 넓고 깨끗한 숙소.

이번 유럽 가족여행에서 묵었던 숙소중 가장 마음에 들었던 숙소입니다. 깨끗하고 친절한 숙소로 나중에 다시 꼭 가보고 싶은 마음이 들도록 숙박객을 편안하게 해주었습니다. 방과 호텔도 깨끗하게 편안한 분위기이며 토스카나 드라이브 코스도 숙소에서 10분거리입니다. 토스카나 숙소로 적극 추천하고 싶은 숙소입니다.
