"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

"Based on my two trips to Turing Locke, I don't think the company and staff can be trusted. The accommodation is advertised with certain basic services - indeed "no more sweaty nights" is on the front of the website. But when this is broken, and broken for months/years, clients are not told. I checked in on one of the hottest days in May on history. It was hotter in the next few days. But on check-in I was not told the air-conn across the hotel was broken. It was also broken 2 years ago when I stayed – the control unit gives strange messages which makes one thing it is user error – but it turns out it is centrally broken. No ability to cool (or heat), and from the reviews this has been happening for >6 months. I think 2 years given the same problem happened last time I stayed. Customers are not told the room will be too hot to sleep in before they arrive. They are not told when they check in. They need to contact reception to ask why it is so hot, at which point it is admitted the hotel is not up to the advertised standard. No offer of help to make it less unpleasant, no offer of fans or ice or ... anything. Full price costs for a room so hot it is not clearly safe (especially for small children and the elderly). On check out I was asked "how was your stay". I said "well of course, it as far too hot". Reception said "yes, but other than that has was your stay". This was indication the staff don't care about how 6 nights of poor to no sleep impacts a person on a work trip!"

"We recently had a short 2 night stay and were blown away with the service we received. We booked the deluxe room which was lovely, very quirky retaining some of the features of what appears to be a very old building. We stayed during the heatwave in May and unfortunately had a small issue with the air conditioning which was no doubt working very hard to supply cold air to all rooms.. This was quickly resolved and we were more than satisfied with the response of the staff and in particular Deputy Manager Karolina who was lovely. She went above and beyond in ensuring that we had a lovely stay.. A big shout out to Karolina who is a credit to the Hotel and who showed how customer service should be done..Always service with a smile and very attentive.. Thank you for making our stay so special and one we will remember. The bar was also very quirky in what appeared to be in a cellar, it was lovely with some excellent cocktails.. Breakfast was also lovely.. not your normal full English.. not too much but really good quality. Overall we loved the hotel and our time in Cambridge.."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and all the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. The facilities were well maintained, and overall we were very happy with our stay. The only issue we experienced was with the balcony. There were pigeons regularly staying there, and unfortunately a large part of the balcony was covered with pigeon droppings, making it difficult to use and enjoy the outdoor space. We love animals and understand that this can be difficult to control, but we feel the balcony could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Apart from this, everything else was excellent, and we would be happy to stay here again."

"The staff were A+ , so helpful friendly and lovely, nothing was a problem at all. Even when they are rushed off their feet and dealing with multiple problems. Rooms comfy, breakfast nice. Swimming pool use is a bit clunky having to go back to reception each time for access, but facilities were excellent. Parking slightly complicated."
