Friendly staff , Gave us advice for navigating the city. Had an issue with shower but it was fixed same day. Only con was the narrow steep stairs up to our room but we didn't ask for accessible room when booking so our error. Central location, easy walking distance to city centre. Plenty cafés, restaurants nearby as well as a Tesco Express.

Excellent location for city centre. Generally quiet area with just a bit of late night revelling from pub next door. Comfortable bed and welcome hot drink making facilities. Shower room too small. The owners kindly carried our luggage upstairs

Lovely little guest house in the heart of Chester

The guest house was easy to find, and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We got in before check in and were able to leave our bags there, and were given our key to come back whenever we wanted. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, the room was clean and lovely - it's not a room at a 5 star hotel, but it's wonderful for the price! Bed was comfortable and shower was hot. As long as the window is closed its nice and quiet, and there's a fan provided. Fridge is a bit loud but I appreciate that it's there, and the provided water and milk was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Practical as it's right in the town centre. Nothing apart from that for me. From the outside it looks well to do but this is where it all ends. The room is far from suitable even for one person. Very small, carpet is very dirty. I use B&Bs in Chester often and this is one I will avoid in future if I can. Double bed was comfortable and coverings looked clean but with other observations I wonder if it actually was clean. Not very impressed.

Wonderful hosts and super convenient location 2 mins from central Chester. Can get a bit noisy on a Saturday night given its central location, otherwise the perfect stop-over for our Chester visit.

This was just a flying visit as I needed somewhere to stay in the middle of a long journey... I picked this option as it was the cheapest I saw (£42) and I was on a budget, so I knew I might have to just accept anything - but the quality of everything about my stay was great! I was able to check in/out outside the normal hours which I appreciated and communication with the owners was very good (including full guidance on parking). I had a comfortable double bed and en suite bathroom. The location was perfect, right in the middle of historic Chester and close to a beautiful quiet pub (it was a Monday night) where I sat and read for a while. Really set me up for the next leg of my journey!

Amazing guesthouse

A great guesthouse looked good as approached from the outside, tucked behind one of main roads so the bus stop is literally 2 mins away. I was greated by Alison who welcomed me in and made me feel at ease - thank you. The room was big and very clean, with tea/coffee. The decor was amazing too. The bed was so cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended.
