"the room was clean but in need of some updating and minor repairs such as new caulking in bath/shower area. I was in a room that had the bars in tub area for easier access and a higher toilet that I liked plenty of room in both bathroom area and sleeping area. Food served there was good but a bit pricey. It was located in a good central area to access to other places of interests"

"The big chip was a gem! We were there for work not a vacation. I will be back for a vacation at the Big chip that's a promise. The place is brand new and beautiful vacation spot. Don't hesitate to book any of the three rooms you won't be disappointed. Plenty of bars and lake access to launch your boat. I will be back definitely!"

"The cabin is small and rustic with no A/C as described on the website. My 2 problems with it were: 1. There seem to be a lot of small cracks/holes in the walls that made it impossible to keep completely bugs out and 2. There were tons of cobwebs stuck to the outside of the building that make it look a little creepy. Neither are deal breakers, but something renters should be aware of. The beds are cozy and the location/lake are very nice."
