I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. "We arrived late and the drive felt like we would never get there. But when we arrived the greetings were over accommodating and fixed us a glass of wine and a light dinner. Very unexpected. Our room was lovely and decorated very French! The room was clean the breakfast was great! The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. "

"I tend to base reviews and stars on key criterion such as Bed Comfort, quality of breakfast, and friendliness of hosts. So with this in mind... Positives are: Bed was comfortable = 1 star Hosts were friendly and helpful (allowing me to park my motorcycle in the courtyard) = 1 star Breakfast was good = 1 star Negatives are: Shower is neither relaxing or pleasant. The water is powerful and hot but the shower head does not have a holder and thus needs to be held in one's hand. Added to that,...

"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."
