Lakeview Landing

Welcome to The Lookout at Lake Chelan, a traditionally designed lakeside neighborhood located just one mile from downtown Chelan.

Lakeview Landing sits atop a hill overlooking beautiful Lake Chelan, offering stunning views of the lake, surrounding mountains, and unforgettable sunsets. The exterior features a large wrap-around porch on the front, top-floor view deck on the back, hot tub, 6-seat fire table, and a fully fenced yard—perfect for your pets.

With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, Lakeview Landing comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. An optional carriage house is also available to rent, sleeping an additional 4 guests for a total capacity of 16.

The inverted floor plan maximizes views, placing the living, dining, and kitchen areas on the top floor beneath large vaulted ceilings. The well-equipped kitchen includes quartz countertops, a large island with four barstools, a gas oven/range, and ample cupboard space. The dining table seats 8. The living area features a 52” Smart TV with Roku, a gas fireplace, a sofa, and other comfortable seating. Also on this level is a king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in shower.

The middle level consists of 3 bedrooms:

· The primary suite includes a private bath with a freestanding bathtub, double-sink vanity, and separate shower area with a pocket door.
· The second bedroom features a queen bed.
· The third bedroom, the bunk room, has two sets of built-in bunk beds with built-in drawers and Twin XL mattresses, suitable for adults.

All bedrooms include TVs, alarm clocks, and charging stations.

The basement features a large media room with an L-shaped king-size sleeper sectional (no bars or springs), an 83” 4K Smart TV, DVD player, Xbox One, foosball table, and stand-up arcade game. This level also includes a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a large-capacity side-by-side washer & dryer.

The top floor deck offers beautiful lake and mountain views. It includes a large outdoor dining table which can accommodate up to 10 people, as well as a gas grill.

Under the deck, you’ll find 4 adult bikes, 2 teen bikes, bike helmets, a wagon for hauling pool or beach gear, a portable cooler, and two kayaks with paddles.

The garage (available in summer months) includes a stand-up paddleboard, multiple fishing rods, an extra full-sized refrigerator, dart board and a ping-pong table. A Level 2 EV charger is also available year-round:

· 24-ft cord
· Approximately 25 miles of range per hour — ideal for overnight charging
· Compatible with Rivian, all J1772 EVs, and Teslas with an adapter

Please note: The garage is not available for vehicle parking in winter, as it is used for boat storage. However, access to the EV charger remains available year-round.

Dogs are welcome at Lakeview Landing, with a maximum of two dogs (50 lbs or less). Dogs must be house-trained. No puppies allowed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Lakeview off and on for over 8 years give or take. We have celebrated milestones here, daughters 16th and 18th birthdays. We love the Lakeview because it has areas to be together as a family while also spaces to get some space when it’s time for some independent relaxation. We love the view and have spent many a night on the back deck looking up toward the Northwest at the stunning sunsets and have enjoyed so many walks with our family dogs around the neighborhood. We have stayed at many homes but this is the original favorite for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed the stay at the home and in this property! All the amenities were fantastic and we were amazed at the planning that went on with the landscape and the homes. Our only complaints: Sofa sleeper mattress in the media room needs to be replaced - it was quite uncomfortable for our 6'4" son! You also need more lighting in the master bathroom where the vanity chair sits. Otherwise, we will definitely recommend this place to our friends! Oh, and adding the $1500 for taxes and fees on at the end, really through our budget. Please include this in your initial cost for greater transparency.

Because we got 10+' of snow over night on Friday we were mostly snowed in on Saturday morning however the HOAs workers started to plough the roads really early so we were able to get out and about into the town in the afternoon. The one thing that was hard was because it snowed so much, we parked on the street vs the garage/driveway which is In the back of the house. Clearer directions to get into the property would be helpful for others when they cannot use the garage/driveway parking.

Reviewer Comments: If you plan on staying at this home, I would caution you to reconsider and stay elsewhere. We stayed a week at this house over Spring break. The short version of our stay– It started when they messed up the billing for our stay which took a month to resolve. Then we had to do some cleaning when we arrived at the house because the house was not thoroughly cleaned (and during Covid, really?). We treated the house as if it were our own during our stay and our stay was quiet and non-eventful. When we returned home, we were greeted with a call from The Lookout saying we had done extensive damage to the house. We were confused because as I stated, it was a quiet non-event stay. So I asked to see documentation of the alleged damage. I received a 4-page document with tiny pictures that had no description of room or damage and with no date/time stamp. I went back and told them we did not do the damage they claimed and asked for date/time stamped pictures of the checkout of the previous renter/homeowner and our check out along with details on the alleged damage. We denied doing any of the damage and I was told they would not be providing that document. I inquired a few weeks later, as I had not heard from The Look out, and was told that they were still waiting for contractor bids to fix all the damage. I emailed again asking again for date/time stamped photos and to date still no response from The Lookout. We are now 2 months into this, and we have not heard from The Lookout. Yet, with all the alleged damage that we did they are still renting out the house. Why would you rent out the house if there is already 4 pages of damage done by renters? And as a business practice why would you not use photos with date/time stamps? Feels sketchy at best.

Great Stay

We all had a wonderful time. The house was great, clean, and the view was gorgeous. My only complaint was dealing with the parking and the parking passes. I received something like at least 6 emails before the trip and one of those had a link that if I clicked on it and then scrolled all the way to the bottom... then I'd read about parking passes being needed. I don't have time to read 6 emails let alone pages of a guide to find this stuff out. So then I'm trying to relax for 2 days and have to call rental offices and find car passes, not my idea of a great time. The staff was super kind and helpful with getting us passes and situated. I would just prefer to have things like that settled before my time away.

Lovely LakeView Landing #16

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a week at this beautiful home. Since it was early December, the elegant holiday decorations were also appreciated. We were very impressed with the location, and enjoyed the view of the lake and walks in the neighborhood every day. We were grateful for the incredibly well-appointed kitchen. Any serving bowl or utensil we needed was provided. Our family divided our time between remote working, watching movies in the amazing media room and playing outrageously funny ping pong tournaments. The hot tub was fun on a chilly night, and would be lovely in any season.We enjoyed Local Myth Pizza, Fonda Oaxaqueña and would recommend both.This home was perfect for our stay, and would be incredible in the warmer months.

Cute house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall everything was wonderful!!! We had the best time celebrating my sisters bachelorette weekend. There was only two things that were unfortunate, and that was the bed in the pullout couch in the theater room was missing a leg so two girls just had to sleep on the couch and not a bed like what we thought we were getting. The other unfortunate thing was the hot tub cover was broken on one side so the lid had a hard time staying on. Neither of these things were brought to my attention when booking or checking in. Other than that it was absolutely amazing and would 10/10 recommend!
