"what a find clean and tidy inside a bit dated but nothing to worry about. Outside could definitely do with a cobweb sweep and the light fixed and the chairs in good condition one was broken when we git there. The site could do alot more perhaps a bit if entertainment etc and maybe a møre better takeaway although this didn’t stop is having a good holiday."

"The most amazing property with superb views, oodles to do for entertainment. The pool and spa facilities are amazing and all the sports equipment were well used by our family group. There was 38 of us, across three generations and we would visit again in a heart beat!"

"This was an excellent place to stay for first 3 nights in Paris. The room was as described. I had great email correspondence with the management. The hotel staff were accommodating and personable. The breakfast was delicious. It was easy to access the hotel, but you will need internet for texting and email. I would recommend this hotel. It was lovely. We walked everywhere from this location. "My wife and I were very impressed with Barbara’s hideaway. The cottage was clean, functional, and out of the way but still fairly close to all the wonderful little towns and chateaus in the valley. The private pool was a treat and we felt like we were the only people around for miles yet Barbara was there anytime we had a question. We were the first quests from the United States so we hope Barbara sees many more. You will not be disappointed. C’était génial"

"Great welcome and the hotel and grounds are lovely. Service was a bit slow for lunch on arrival and I had to go back to reception to find some waiting staff but once at the table they were all very good. Dinner was superb. The room was lovely and breakfast on the terrace also sublime. Would definitely return. "

"This is an amazing place to stay - beautiful grounds with flowers, trees and well-tended lawns, a wonderful pool, and clean comfortable accomodations. We rented a 2-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and dining space - it was quiet and very private, with a patio in front and back, and just steps to the pool. The whole property feels very private and luxurious but is not at all stuffy or formal. Among the very best hotels we've stayed in anywhere in the world."

Terrific

"We had a wonderful time. The villa was as described. It was very clean and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding very good. It was in a lovely setting, with a very nice swimming pool and the main town was not far away, so was very convenient to get to, by car, for gift shops (not many, but a few) and restaurants. You definitely need a car though to get around as everywhere is too far to get to if you walk. We did notice a bus stop within a couple of minutes walk from the villa, so I guess you can get about easily by bus but we never asked about this. The only thing that we were a little disappointed with was that there wasn’t a welcome pack and that would have been very good because we arrived late and had only half an hour to get to the supermarket to buy milk and cold drinks. We would definitely love to stay again although the next time we may fly because the drive is very long from the Euro Tunnel - 6/7 hours."
