This is exactly what we were looking for! Quiet and secluded but close to town. The water view was beautiful and we loved walking the beach and looking at all of the beautiful rocks. We traveled with our two dogs and appreciated the thoughtful touches. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Spot

We absolutely loved this place. It was very clean, comfortable, quiet and the view was amazing!!! The kids didn't want to leave and truthfully we were sad to go too. It is a great location just about a 30 minute drive to a ton of family attractions.

We enjoyed our stay very much! It is close to area attractions . Very clean and it was a perfect place to relax at. The only trouble we had was the internet was spotty. Would stay here again! The view was beautiful!

Beautiful views

This space was perfect for our family of 7. For us the backyard was the star of this property. We loved the fire pit, sand beach volleyball/badminton area...it was fun for all ages of kids (11-adult), and walking along the shoreline.

Amazing Lake Huron Getaway!

Overall, the property is an absolutely beautiful getaway spot! Stunning views of the water, right on Lake Huron we enjoyed walking down the coastline in the morning, bonfires right next to the beach at night! Mackinac City is only 20 minutes away. An absolutely perfect quiet setting. Minor issues on the inside (but need to be addressed) included: leaking kitchen sink (no dishwasher), drain in master shower slow, fruit flies, broken curtains/shades in master. Would stay here again!

This house was perfect. It had enough space for my family of 7. The view of the lake was breathtaking. It had a volleyball net and cornhole game for the kiddos. It had a large area with a fire pit and comfy chairs for the whole family. Drive to town and nearby attractions was easy. We were lucky enough to see meteor showers the weekend we stayed! Easy communication with staff. We will definitely return!

Girls Get Away

Property was clean and just as described in listing. The beach view and sunrise over the lake was beautiful. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on the lake for the view. No place to actually swim at the property to rocky. However just down the road is a park with a nice sand beach and no rocks.

Amazing Lake Views

The property was as-advertised. The house was spacious and comfortable for 6-8 people, including kids. The views are spectacular and worth it to stay right on the lake. My favorite part was watching sunrise and sunset on the beach. Very serene and peaceful. One drawback is the cable and internet are spotty if you need them. Otherwise it was an amazing spot to visit.

Beautiful winter get away

Watching the ice flow passing on the lake was beautiful. Enjoyed the sun and the snow. It was the winter wonderland I have been wanting to see for many years very quite very peaceful and the house was exactly what it is described to be. What a wonderful place to stay will probably return. We had to leave early because there was an incoming storm. . AMAZING OUTDOOR SPACE!

This property is gorgeous! The outdoor space is wonderful and relaxing! Our family had a great time here. A couple things I wish I would have known before arriving...there is only 1 towel provided per guest and the washing machine has rust inside, so we were unable to wash our light colored clothing. So pack accordingly. Not a huge deal and certainly not enough to ruin our stay.

Great house and great location

We had a full house and had plenty of space inside and outside. The backyard was updated and doesn't show in pictures. Has an updated fire pit on one side of the back and the other side is a volleyball court. Grocery stores and downtown Cheboygan were only 15 minutes away. Lots of other places to visit within an hour. If you want to be close to attractions, but feel secluded, then this is the spot. Would absolutely recommend.

Great Little Getaway

The house, the sunrise and the northern lights were all perfect! The house was clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bath towels were amazing. Strange thing to highlight, I know, but they were pretty great. The property was just about perfect. The only downside was we were not able to go out into the water because the beach into the water had larger stepping stones that were as slippery as ice when wet. Just a half mile up the road though was a roadside park with an excellent rock hounding beach with water access. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Quaint Little Spot with a Lake View

We had few complaints with our stay. The location on Lake Huron is lovely, our older kids enjoyed the lake access and the volleyball net, and everyone had a comfortable place to rest. Cheboygan residents were all very friendly and easy access to Mackinaw City. The view at Sunrise is amazing. The beach is very rough, (lots of shells and rocks, so bring lake shoes). Each guest has one towel provided so consider bringing extra. Both bathrooms had loose fixtures as well as tub handles, as well as the settings not working in the Garden Tub. Use gently. The Ring Camera goes off randomly in the very early mornings for what seems to be "no reason. " The best we could assume was possibly losing internet connection, as the WiFi is a little spotty. There was also left over milk and yogurt in the refrigerator upon our arrival. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay, and the view makes up for the few issues with the home. It was a great place to relax and enjoy time with our 5 kids.
