  • Summary:

You'll love this bright, cheerful cabin with playful charm! 3 sleeping spaces (2 bedrooms + loft), full kitchen, private deck with hammock chairs & hot tub. Perfect for families, friends, or couples. 5 minutes from downtown Chattanooga attractions like Rock City & Tennessee Aquarium. Optional farm-fresh food available. Fresh mountain air & creative vibes await!

    The Space:

Honeycomb House radiates lighthearted charm with its bright, natural vibe and playful details. This cabin feels airy and cheerful, with a relaxed energy that invites creativity, conversation, and deep breaths of mountain air. With three sleeping spaces (two enclosed bedrooms and a loft), a fully equipped kitchen, and a private deck with hammock chairs, it’s perfect for families, friends, or couples looking for a fresh perspective. The private hot tub adds a soothing finish to your day, and inside, Timberroot’s Signature Enchanted Forest bath products—a custom blend of pine fir, amber, and tobacco—bring the scent of the forest indoors.

    About the Farm:

Quail Run Farm offers the best of both worlds, with peaceful countryside charm just minutes from the heart of downtown Chattanooga. This unique spot lets guests enjoy quiet mornings on the farm while still having easy access to top attractions like Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway, and the Tennessee Aquarium. Guests staying at Quail Run have the opportunity to enjoy food raised right here. From pasture-raised eggs and grass-fed beef to house-cured bacon and seasonal specialties, every item we offer is produced with care on our land. While meals aren’t provided, guests can pre-order select farm-raised items to stock their fridge or fire up the grill for a true taste of Quail Run. Looking for an up-close look at life on the farm? Guests are welcome to book a guided tour. These casual, family-friendly experiences offer a chance to meet our animals, explore the pastures, and learn about regenerative farming practices.

If you have any questions, comments, or experience any difficulties during your stay, our team of dedicated, locally based Guest Services representatives are on-call and available to help from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm every day.

    Guest Access:

Your unit features a digital keypad at the front door for easy, private access — your code will be provided at check-in. The home is entirely yours during your stay.

Beyond your front door, Quail Run Farm is yours to explore. This is a working farm, so we ask that guests be mindful and follow all posted signage. Roam the grounds, sign up for a farm tour, try an outdoor cooking class, or check out one of our on-site property events (fees may apply). And be sure to say hello to Sampson, our resident farm dog. He's the unofficial welcoming committee and never turns down a good scratch behind the ears!

    The Neighborhood:

Quail Run Farm is a 120-acre working regenerative farm just minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Out here, rolling pastures meet views of Lookout Mountain, and the pace slows down just enough to feel like a real escape. But you're never far from the action. Downtown Chattanooga's restaurants, breweries, and attractions are a quick drive away, and outdoor adventures like hiking, rock climbing, and paddleboarding are right around the corner. Closer to home, take some time to explore the farm. It's the best of country living with city convenience just down the road.

When you're ready to venture off the farm, there's plenty happening around the area this summer. Rock City is running a season-long America 250 celebration with new art installations, mountaintop music, and Americana-themed events just a short drive up the mountain. Downtown, the Chattanooga Lookouts are playing their inaugural season at the brand new Erlanger Park, with themed nights, fireworks, and live music all summer. Free concerts run every Friday night at Nightfall in Miller Plaza through July 31, and every Saturday at Riverfront Nights at Ross's Landing through September 5. Quail Run Farm is a perfect home base for all of your summer fun!

    Getting Around:

We recommend having a car during your stay — there's plenty of parking on the property. Uber, Lyft, and local taxis are available in the Chattanooga area, though availability can be limited in rural areas.

The city of Chattanooga offers reasonably priced parking on the street and in several public parking lots.

A free electric shuttle bus runs between the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Tennessee Aquarium with stops at every block. The buses run every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. Bus schedules may vary, please consult the Chattanooga Area Regional Transit Authority website for the most up to date schedules.

Bike Chattanooga offers bike share rentals at 42 self-service kiosk locations all around downtown Chattanooga. With over 300 bicycles and 50 e-bikes this is a great way to explore the city. Visit Bike Chattanooga’s website to learn more.

    Other Things to Note:

We have a guardian Great Pyrenees who protects farm animals from coyotes. He is gentle with other dogs, but does like to play. If your dog is not friendly or doesn’t like to play, it’s probably not wise to bring your dog. We can’t put Sampson up because he has to guard the livestock.

We require a signed rental agreement to book.

    Please note our cancellation policy.

Check-in begins at 4:00 pm on the day of your arrival and check-out is at 10:00 am on your last day. Please contact Guest Services if you would like to request a different arrangement.

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

NOTE: Farms and animals are wonderful, but we are not liable for any injury or illness sustained from exploring the farm, including engaging with animals, swimming in the pool, fishing at pond, interacting with any wildlife, or riding or operating any equipment (yours or ours).

We appreciate that this place was pet friendly. Visitors should be reminded that this cabin-like place is small and has one bathroom, so the larger the group, the more you have to try to fit together.First of all, there is a string of places, side by side, and the names and/or building numbers of each should be prominently displayed. Fortunately we arrived before dark and could deduce which one was ours, but ease in getting there is a priority and this should be done immediately. Our water heater faltered several times, leaving three of our party lathered when the hot water turned cold. Our next door neighbor told us that her hot water stopped altogether. Inferior heaters can do that.Because there are two lofts this place is probably best suited for two adults in the bedroom downstairs and children in the lofts. It is a short trip to the interstate highway and that was a plus for us.

I was so impressed with this beautiful little cabin! It was absolutely adorable, and in a very beautiful setting. It was so comfortable and beautifully furnished, also stocked with any and everything needed for a comfortable stay. There was a bit of a hiccup at check in, but the host attended to it fairly promptly. Very highly recommend!!
