Pops Lookout Mountain luxury tiny cabin with spa
Summary:
Only 5 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Pops offers a private hot tub, a furnished back deck, a covered front deck with a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. It can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests, with a main bedroom and a sleeping loft.
The Space:
Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area.
Named after Frank’s dad, Pops is one of our luxurious cabana cabins.
During your stay, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub with cabana & privacy curtains, furnished back deck, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature.
Pops can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests between the main bedroom and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, private washer dryer combo, and more.
Outside you’ll find your luxury outdoor spa–a private covered hot tub, complete with bistro lighting and curtains for extra privacy. Just beside the cabana is your fire pit, shared with the cabin next door, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property.
Up the steps from the spa cabana, is the spacious back deck furnished with four Adirondack chairs. At the other end of the cabin is your covered porch with charcoal grill and outdoor dining set (guests must provide their own charcoal).
Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, four closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom is your dedicated washer and dryer combo unit on the right and the full bathroom with bathtub on the left.
A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa.
Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up.

We decided to take a last-minute trip to Chattanooga, and this ended up being an awesome place to stay for a few days. It’s close enough to everything to drive to the best sights within a few minutes, and it has a sweet rustic setting out of the big city. We had a great time and look forward to returning!
We were very pleased with our stay. The location is superb being min's from everything we wanted to do. The cabin was perfect for 4 plus 1 pet. Surroundings were picturesque and welcoming. Great concept for multiple families renting individual cabins.
My husband and I got a night out from the kids and this space made for a nice couples getaway weekend. The place was spotless and adorable. We even discussed coming back and spending a weekend there with our kids. Location is also great to downtown whether you are looking for things to do or going out to eat. Highly recommend and hope to stay there again in the future.
The cabin was clean and cozy. Beautiful decorations and the hot tub was clean and ready to use. The location was easy to find. As noted the train is very active at night. The provided sound machine helped but the machine turned off every few hours. Overall a great stay that was close to the city but with a mountain feel.

Pops is a wonderful property! The whole experience was easy and we enjoyed staying there. The kitchen was so well equipped and it was extremely clean! The beds were really comfortable too!
Very nice cabin. Perfect in location for the activities we had planned. Convenient to downtown Chattanooga. Enjoyed to proximity to the trains, listening and watching them come and go. Would stay here again.
This cabin was the perfect place for our family to go. Our kids loved the upper level. They said it was like a little clubhouse. We enjoyed being close to ruby falls and rock mountain along with all of the other attractions that Chattanooga offers. We will definitely stay again!
Our cabin was very clean and the pictures did not do it any justice. The cabin was more spacious than we had anticipated by the pictures. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Chattanooga.
This was a very cute cabin with easy access to downtown Chattanooga and just 5 minutes away from Ruby Falls and the incline railway. All the rooms were clean and equipped with utensils and plates/ bowls. The hot tub was a plus. When it’s first turned on it is set to a certain temperature which makes the water feel warm only but I recommend setting the temperature to the highest and leave it on for a few hours and then the water will get hotter. Overall it was a nice little getaway for me and my family. The trains do pass regularly through the night but if you are deep sleepers like us it’s not so much of a bother. I recommend coming here if your looking for a cute cabin getaway in Chattanooga.

Rude Management
We only stayed one night (16 hours) but the hot tub wasn't hot for the first 4 hours we were there and the person we spoke to, Carla, was extremely condescending and unprofessional; she laughed at our request the all amenities be available upon checkin, and sent an email about how to operate a hot tub to me, as if that had anything to do with us. She talked over me and was extremely unpleasant. The cabin was nice, but I would NEVER subject myself to such treatment again, and I would NEVER recommend that someone else stay at this rental until they're able to hire competent employees.
We loved this cute little cabin! They pay attention to every detail here. The cabin was extremely clean, the kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook your meals, and even skewers to roast your marshmallows over the firepit. I'm a very light sleeper so I worried about the train sounds but, it never bothered me one bit. We will definitely stay here again.
We wanted to visit the historical sites and was very pleased how close this cabin is to everything. We enjoyed the hot tub after walking the sites and the beach towels were a welcome surprise. The train didn't bother us, it doesn't blow its whistle near there, just passing through. Beds were comfortable, they had the laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent and even some coffee and creamer in the cabinet. Nice towels, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. Liked the quietness and newness of everything. Thanks, will be back!

The cabin was cute and clean and well equipped. The whole little community of tiny cabins was nice. The downside is that there was a very active train track super close to the cabin which was noisy and did not provide for sound sleeping for our group.
