Elise Tiny Cabin with private hot tub on Lookout
Summary:
Nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain, Elise Cabin offers a private hot tub, furnished back deck, covered front deck with a charcoal grill, and a shared fire pit. It accommodates 6 guests and has a main bedroom, a sleeping loft and built-in bunk beds.
The Space:
Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area.
Named after the oldest May kid, Elise Cabin is equipped with everything you could ever need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga.
Elise is one of our bunk bed cabins, perfect for families. During your stay, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub, furnished back deck, shared fire pit, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature. Elise can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests between the main bedroom, built in bunk beds, and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, and more.
Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, there awaits a space of pure relaxation, your private hot tub, with easy access to the main bedroom. Just beside the cabin is the shared fire pit and pavilion, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property.
Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom are the built in bunk beds across from the full bathroom with bathtub.
A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa.
Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up.
The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (guests must provide their own charcoal).

We have stayed at several cabins and loved this one! The set up and comfort were great. The area was like being wrapped in a cozy cocoon, and we slept great there! Just what we needed firca weekend getaway.
First time staying in Chattanooga. Loved the tiny cabin, hot tub and sitting on the back patio surrounded by trees. I knew the road was close, so at times the cars were loud, but never a bother inside. Everything was close to us as well. Quick drive to Publix & Great attractions! Don't miss sunset deck or Ruby Falls. Breathtaking! Thank you host for easy check in & check out & a great place to recharge the batteries. :) Sandy

The Elise Cabin was very nice. The loft was nice but not if you have tall kids with you, but we made it work. If you are a coffee drinker you may want to bring a bigger coffee maker. The overall cabin was clean and had pretty much everything you may need for your stay.

Was a little disappointed how the cabins were so close to each other! 0 privacy!
Stayed a week in this cabin. It is cozy, comfy (allows pets), good service(fast responses, friendly), great location (close to grocery and tourist places). Inside kitchen has many nice utensils ( just pick up a large pot if you usually use one),washer/dryer (host left some washer and dishwasher pads for us which was very nice), hot tube (working well), beds have comfy mattresses, bathroom had enough towels, shampoo, body wash and hand soap(great smell). Plan to come back 🙂 Keep on the good job.
We loved this place other than the hot tub would not work. I contacted the propery manager and it was so late by the time we got connected it was no help. We were only their for one night, late arrival, early checkout. The property manager did make it right with a refund without any hassle. I would totally go back to this place again if ever in the area.
Everything about my stay was perfect! Communication with the owner prior to the visit was delightful with all questions answered right away. The owner even let us add our dog last minute as we were unable to board him. The cabin was clean and beautiful with great views. There were even trails and places to walk around the cabin property. Downtown Chattanooga was about a 7-10 minute drive with it being the same distance to Ruby Falls and other attractions. There is both a front porch and a back porch with a ceiling fan on the front porch that made sitting outside pleasant even in 95 degree weather. We will certainly stay here again! Thank you so much to the owners!

We thought this cabin was so fun and cute. We all really enjoyed the hot tub in the back. It’s near a major road so it’s not super quiet but it wasn’t very loud either. You can hear a train near by which I thought was charming. There was a lot of rain and not too many rainy day activities to do with the kids. We went to Ruby falls and the Tennessee valley train which the kids loved. Down town is very quiet. We will be back to see the aquarium and the rock city. The lookout mountain has an entire town on the top which was interesting and we enjoyed driving around. The cabin was a great price to accommodate our family of five and we really appreciated being able to bring our dog. I would recommend and def stay there again when visiting Chattanooga
We really loved staying here! It was perfect for our little family. Super clean and just adorable. We had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!
The cabin was just what we needed for our weekend in Chattanooga for Ironman ! A little small but plenty of places to sleep. I would recommend an additional bathroom for more than 4 people . Otherwise , everything was great! Appreciated quick communication with the property owners.
We loved being so close to everything we wanted to see and do. The unit was adorable, comfortable, clean. We have absolutely nothing bad to say. We'll definitely book here again in the future.
My family and I stayed here 2 nights and it was perfect! Very clean, almost everything you would need was provided. Not far from lookout Mountain and everything we went to see either! Definitely prefer doing this over a hotel any day!
Our stay here was short but so sweet. The cabin was exactly as advertised- clean and cozy with everything you need for a weekend getaway. Tucked away but also very close to downtown. Wish we could've stayed an extra day or two. Hope to come back soon!
