Brilliant Southside Home on 2 Acre Park + Pet Friendly

Enjoy the best of Southside restaurants and downtown attractions within walking distance from Chattanooga’s first LEED certified home.
Sustainable + Efficient design across the street from park, playground & pavilion. Plentiful + free parking. Perfect for families vacationing, visiting relatives or participating in Ironman/Athletic competitions or work remotely with the fastest residential internet - The Gig!

Entrance to the home is through the front door equipped with door code lock. On street parking is free of charge. For parking, we ask our guests to not park in the driveway nor behind the home as it is a shared driveway. Please park either directly in front & along the chain link fence or across the street.

Behind the house there are train tracks. Trains come though night and day. The trains can sometimes be heard or sometimes they will clank together or squeak. To help with this, we have white noise machines beside all the beds, fans in front & back bedrooms and extra pillows. The sound machines work well and guests report they drown out any noises so you can sleep without interruption. There are two settings on the white noise machines (high and low). I have also provided complimentary single use ear plugs.

This home could not have been more perfect for our long weekend in Chattanooga. The kitchen and bedrooms had everything we could need for our kids, as well as the adults. It’s in the perfect location to explore the city, with a comfortable layout to watch football at the end of the day. The only thing we needed to bring was a baby gate for the steps. The owner is fantastic and told me about the cutest, locally owned book shop/coffee house, the house is super cute with parking in the back, so you’re off the street, the location is in close proximity to everything you’d want to do in Chattanooga, its reasonably priced, comfortable, very clean, and I WILL be back to stay here again! :)

We stayed at the Southside Home for 5 days and it was the perfect layout, location and home! We enjoyed the park across the street every afternoon. Great House in Fun Neighbourhood

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennie’s. Super clean and comfortable and well designed. We loved walking to the fantastic restaurants and breweries and our dog loved the park just out front. The white noise machines were a thoughtful addition as were the earplugs as it does back into the train track. Jennie was lovely to deal with and we are already looking forward to returning next year!

In a part of town that is rebuilding. Lots of great properties. Convenient to downtown. Lots of great eats close by. Host was amazing! Quick responses and great suggestions. We chose this home for a family getaway. It was perfect for us. Check in was simple, great communication with the friendly owner. Jenny goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The park, just steps from the front door, was a bonus for our two little ones and the dogs. Super cute neighborhood. Walked to a great restaurant- Taqueria- took maybe 10 mins. I’d definitely stay here again.
