12/23-12/30/25. Host was welcoming. Good directions to the cabin (Bridge was out). Beautiful location in the woods! Very convenient location for site seeing, museums, hiking trails and history of area. Had toddlers with us (3, 5) and they clearly had fun. Was well stocked.Highly recommend this place for a cozy and convenient stay. We'll definitely be back!
Outstanding host! Very welcoming and provided all necessary information as well as additional local information on things to do in the area. Unit was very well equipped and exceptionally clean! Even little extra amenities like firewood and some coffee pods - greatly appreciatred!
This was our third time staying at Emerson’s Cabin. We enjoy the quaint cabin, the trails and the creek. Perfect place to unwind and to slow down from the fast pace of life. The place is clean with plenty of provided items (paper towels, toilet paper, cooking pans, books, games, extra blankets, etc) We highly recommend the cabin!
Great location close to Pinhotti and wonderful stream!
The place was very nice and clean. Loved the location. We had a small issue with the hot water pressure, but I think that was temporary. Our visit was great, and we loved the dog the best!!
Loved our stay. Such an adorable cozy cabin, it was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed listening to the creek from the front porch at night and playing in the creek during the day.
Angie was very responsive and a great host.
Definitely will stay here again.
Loved the location and privacy , everything worked great and shower heat and pressure was better than hotels in town. The trails around the property are nice for people of all abilities, recommend this cabin
We loved our visit so much!
The music on arrival was perfect, setting the tone for our stay. The charming, quaint cabin was quiet and comfortable, surrounded by amazing nature. The sounds and views were simply breathtaking.
We definitely would love to return for another visit!!
This cabin was exceedingly clean and cozy. Plenty of extra blankets. The property was fun and perfect for a rural get away with the kids to find a snowy escape. We love the fireplace and exploring outside.
Had the most relaxing time at this cabin. Beautifully decorated and appointed, the cabin with its porches was so peaceful, we gave up a day of exploring and just enjoyed staying on the property. The sound of the creek and the spring green of all the trees and plants along the hikes right on the premises were fun to explore. Carters Lake, Ft. Mountain and Cohutta Wilderness are all a short and scenic ride away. Highly recommend this property for a great getaway!
What a cool property! I was looking for a getaway for the weekend for my sons, one who rides mountains bikes competitively. I chose this spot bc of the access to mtb trails, but he suffered a spinal injury the week before so this ended up being the perfect serene place to recover. Beautiful place that allowed us time in nature with the ability to do short hikes on the property with his limited mobility. Everything we needed was there. The perfect weekend escape! We plan to come back when he can ride again!
We were more than pleased with this beautiful quiet and calming cabin. Enjoyed drinking coffee and listening to the wonderful sounds of water and nature. We will be back and the owners were so sweet and helpful. I give this place a five star rating
This was such a beautiful little cabin nestled in between two creeks. We loved exploring outside and all the lovely trails. Decor and offers inside were wonderful. We will absolutely be back. Thank you!
This cabin is absolutely perfect! My eighty-three yr old mom and I came to get away for several days to spend some peaceful time together. Every little detail of the cabin was so thought out! It was super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, sitting on the screened porch while listening to the bubbling stream, and seeing all the beautiful fall leaves.
We had such a nice time telling old stories and making new memories! We would definitely visit here again!
This property was so amazing, we had to force ourselves out the door! Inside is cozy, inviting and clean. The screened in porch is the perfect spot to read a book or catch up with each other while the music of the birds and the rivers play in the background. Maggie is the sweetest pup, ready to show you the trails and earn her ear scratches. We plan to come back as soon as possible!
We absolutely loved Emerson's cabin and its surroundings. We played in the creek daily with Maggie and enjoyed S'mores by the fire pit in the evenings. The weather was perfect for adventure. With that being said the wifi and television streaming is almost non existent for good reason you want to be out doing things, so having a better selection of games on hand would have been nice for something to pass the time in the evenings, etc. Everything was wonderful and we would for sure stay again.
When we first got to the property, we were taken aback. Gorgeous property, gorgeous cabin, and super friendly owners. We had so much fun exploring the creek, swimming in the swimming hole, fishing, and hiking the trails. There are so many cute, personal touches, like crocheted hearts hidden around the cabin, gnomes and fairies placed on the trails, and other such things. Maggie was such a sweet baby, and played with us for hours. We are definitely returning next year!
I enjoyed my stay at Emerson’s cabin. It was located in a peaceful and secluded location with plenty of hiking trails and nature to see. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and relaxation and we only left once to get some apples to take home. If you are looking for a quiet stay with plenty of flora and fauna, you should check out this cabin.
