"Beautiful hotel / setting and outstanding food"

"This is a lovely hotel. We had a room in the Pole Barn which had its own outside seating. The seating here could do with being a wee bit more comfortable, but it was a nice touch. The room was small but very well-designed - controllable temp and lighting, a fridge and a great bathroom. The restaurant was lovely - big, airy and stylish. The food was excellent adn the main bonus was the staff -friendly and helpful without fail."

"The property had plenty of space, clean and well equipped. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed for cooking. The location was ideal for visiting lots of different tourist attractions from Alnwick to Berwick on Tweed. Really easy to get around. The fish and chip van in the village was great. "
