"The Chateau is stunning, our check in was very good and our room lovely. However, to be clear, although it's marketed on websites such as Hotels.com, it is not a hotel in the traditional sense. There is no service provided at all apart from an average, 'self serve' breakfast. The photos we saw online of beautiful pastries unfortunately did not materialise. "We stayed for one night in the family suite. Big living space and 2 good sized bedrooms with aircon in each room. Kitchen facilities as well. Plenty of parking. Easy self service check-in. Breakfast was included in our rate. Not a buffet style but plenty of breakfast provided which was continental. Location quiet but a bit out from the centre. We decided to get a uber there and back as it was supposedly a 20 + min walk to the old town. No on site staff, however all communication was excellent. Would highly recommend."
