"This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

"We had a long drive and we were met by both Bernard and Martine, they were very welcoming. Their place is lovely right on the river and what a view! "I had not properly read that there would be no towels. We have not experienced this before. We had arrived by air so carrying those is not practical. Thankfully we were close to friends who helped us or we could not have had a shower after our long journey as there were no shops near. I wish they would be provided for other travellers like ourselves. We were told it was because of Covid but bed linen was provided and we could not understand the difference! Everything else was perfect."

"Just wow. Firstly the photos didnt show just how big it acually is, we were blown away. We had an wonderful week staying at this beautiful house with our 2 boys, 8 and 10, and our sausage dog too. The area is so peaceful, the views were gorgeous. The property is secure so our children and pup were free to roam around whilst we relaxed. The pool was great with steps to get in and bigger than expected too. The children loved it. Isabelle who we met when we arrived was so lovely and very helpful...
