"Everything was clean, it was quiet and the restaurant food was good"

"The red lights when we arrived at night didn't give the best impression to start with. The room was clean and welcoming, but the bathroom was very small and my main complain point: All plastic and no curtain, it felt like the bathroom of an autocaravan and looked worn out, with marks that looked dirty but could be of rust or paint falling off. The lack of curtain ment that the toilet and floor would get wet whenever we showered. Not ideal. There were no pictures of the bathroom before reserving, so it was a bit of a shocker. Knowing this beforehand I might have considered paying a bit more to get a better bathroom. Perfect location for a walk around Le Lac"

"Wonderful stay at Chateau Dauzac. Loved the attention to detail and all of the personal touches to make the stay special. It started with a sign with our names at reception to welcome us. At the gates there was a flag specifically for our countries. A handwritten note in the room. Fresh Macaroons. The room was stunning. Modern but classic too. Very clean and stunning view. The breakfast was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"Amazing stay close to Bordeaux but still secluded. We enjoyed a relaxed 2-night stay (in a spatious room), and especially enjoyed the 24/7-available wine bar as well as the sunrise on the estate with a coffee (included even if no breakfast is booked). Staff was very attentive and friendly, would definitely recommend!"

They always greet us with warmth and genuine care. One detail that particularly touched me was the little surprises they would leave with their stuff toys when tidying my daughters' beds—such a thoughtful and personal touch that made them feel extra special. Those small gestures, combined with their attentiveness and kindness, made our time here unforgettable. The château itself is beautiful and peaceful, but it’s Emma and Marie’s dedication and hospitality that truly set it apart. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return."
