"Our room was spacious and clean. The restaurant was superb. 10 minute walk from the train station. "

"Breakfast was basic but filling. If you’re not European and come from South East Asia, don’t expect anything with spices. No preferences for non pork/beef eaters so make do with eggs and bread. The TV has no English programming and even when I complained that the CNN channel was out, nothing was done. Zero marks for effott"

"We had one of the smaller rooms. Very basic, bunk beds, strange design. Lighting controls not intuitive, even with English instructions. Good location adjacent to Atelier de Citernes food hall with numerous vendors. Walk to Gare St Jean in 10 minutes or less."

"Lovely property, beautifully clean and exactly as the pictures suggest. Pascal and Laurence were exceptionally friendly and helpful, we had a great week here. The location is slightly out of the way, so had to drive everywhere as the main road is too busy to walk, but other than this we couldn’t fault it. The house is really well equipped and the pool was fab (if slightly chilly due to the mixed weather!). Plenty to visit in the local area, particularly recommend Saint Emilion."
