Our daughter goes to Mi Tech and this the perfect place for us- nice and close to campus but also close to hiking trails etc. Property is modern and very clean. Owners are very responsive to any questions we have :)
The property was very clean and beautiful. We were able to cook often during our week stay. We found areas to hike nearby and walked in the downtown area. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful spot.

Good clean place. Traffic was a little loud and the morning sun comes in through the window in the morning
As a woman traveling alone, I am always aware of my surroundings. I felt safe and secure and the suite was very modern and clean.

We really enjoyed this property—so convenient to traveling the peninsula. Host was totally on top of all our needs. Very clean and pleasant. Lots of space.
We were on the go for much of our week in the U.P., and this was a great place to land at the end of each day. Accommodations were just right - everything we needed, nothing we didn’t, and a terrific location. Our pup loved morning and evening walks on the trails, the lake was lovely, and during a warm week, Fred and Maria were thoughtful about making sure things were cool and comfortable. We’re looking forward to going back.
The unit is very clean, obviously a new build. Appliances were like brand new showroom features. Very open & spacious. Having a back deck sitting area and fenced in area for our little dog was a plus. We had a question with the thermostat controls and the host Fred came within 15 minutes to show us. The bed was very comfortable. It was in the 80s, we bought 2 table top fans for more comfort. Over all was a wonderful stay. If there’s a draw back, it’s just being on the main road, traffic can get pretty noisy.

We really enjoyed the space and found it to be clean, well stocked, and spacious. There is a community park that is walkable from the location which was great for our dog. It is on a main street so you do hear traffic. I will note that the AC didn't seem to be working properly but there was a floor unit and fans available. I don't think that should take away from the rating of the property though, they were obviously accommodating the best they could. I would stay definitely stay again.
We’ve stayed at numerous VRBO rentals over the years. This place in Chassell was perfect for our 45th Anniversary trip up to the Keweenaw. It is a super clean home. It has everything we needed and more. It’s in a perfectly safe neighborhood. The town of Chassell is small but very nice. It’s close to Houghton and the Quincy Mine which had rock shows we came here for. The backyard and deck area was perfect for our 2 small yorkies we brought with us. The air conditioning worked great as well as the furnace. Both used on our one week vacation in August! It seems like it’s brand new inside. The bed was comfortable. Again there was everything you might need and more. Communications with the owner was great too. There’s only enough room sleeping wise for 2 or 3 people. But I wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again for our next trip if going to the Keweenaw. We even got to see the Northern Lights from the deck out back. My first time ever seeing them and I’m in my 60s. Definitely was a highlight. A wonderful home.
