Beautiful Keweenaw Country Cottage! Located in Upper Peninsula MI! Fenced yard!

Time to relax! Enjoy a hot, wood fired, rustic cedar sauna after your seasonal adventures. Perfect place to star gaze and even catch some Northern lights! (aurora borealis) Also provided every morning are fresh farm eggs thanks to the ladies! Less than a 1/4 mile from boat dock where fish even gather. We are pet friendly for trained, smaller animals that will have plenty of space to run in our well maintained, fenced in yard. Location is the key! Less than a 1 hour trip to one of our most northern points in the Upper Pennisula. Ojibwa Casino is 20 min. away and also less than 20 min. drive to MTU and from our Historical Hancock/Houghton Portage Canal Lift Bridge! One of a kind in the world! Plenty of souvenir shops to choose from. Choose your delight as we aim to please!

A bargain rental

We stayed in the upper peninsula for five nights in this very well equipped cottage. It was unbeatable for the price and served nicely as a base of exploration. It’s about a 12 mile driving into Houghton and we were a little surprised at the remoteness of the property. But if you are looking for a scenic, peaceful experience, this is it.

This is our second trip staying at Kim’s cabin. She always has everything you need and a very clean house. We brought a couple of grandkids and our three dogs this time and it’s so nice having a fenced in yard so the dogs can run around in as soon as I figured out how to use the doggie door. It’s in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and farm fresh eggs are always a message away. Thank you again for your quick responses to all of my messages and thank you for being a great host. We’re looking forward to our next day, if it’s available.Kevin and Alice

Great country cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s cottage. She was quick to respond to my questions and the cottage was perfect for our getaway. The cottage is located near a lot of attractions and easily accommodated our small dogs.
