"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. "We were very impressed with this hotel which we stayed at for one night on our way to Belgium from the Cote D'Azure. The house was lovely and we were met very graciously by the owner, who was very pleasant and welcoming. She informed us we could get an upgrade and we ended up having a lovely spacious suite.
