  • Rare opportunity to immerse yourself in a storybook setting in a WATERFRONT LOG CABIN that was originally built in 1840s in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home was dismantled and rebuilt log by log on this perfectly situated lot in 1978. It is a true intersection of the past & the present. This history infused cabin offers modern comforts along with the nostalgic, rustic and quirky aspects you might expect.

    There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the year round views of Lake Norman, listen to the waves, take the kayaks for a spin, use the fishing poles to catch some bass or start a bonfire in the fire pit. Twinkle lit deck and dock for ambiance in the evenings. And, remember, this home is located IN THE LAKE NORMAN STATE PARK that offers lots of hiking & biking trials (you will need to bring your own bike)!! Minimal maintenance landscaping (no yard to mow!)
