I'm very particular when staying at a hotel and this hotel was everything. The entire hotel was clean and for safety no one without a key is able to go upstairs because you need a key to use the elevator so i love that. I didn't give 5 stars because I feel the breakfast is over priced. Its buffet style very little selections and is $20. This will definitely be my hotel of choice whenever I visit again

This stay was far too expensive for the quality of the stay. Its the equivalent to flying with Spirit. The lobby was visually appealing, the staff was kind, the beds were clean. However, the cost was excessive and surrounding areas are rundown and neglected. Prepare to pay $12/night for parking, NC taxes, and County Taxes. Overall property management is poor. There will certainly be panhandlers approaching your vehicle either outside of the property or the traffic light by the hotel. This property is not upfront, through booking agents, about what additional costs you will be charged. For ONE night, I paid $270. I was under the impression whilst booking my reservation that breakfast would be included in the stay and this was later confirmed again when checking in to the hotel. The following morning when approaching the breakfast bar, we are told there is a $20 fee to eat. I paid the $20. The buffet options were poor and limited. If you are looking to stay somewhere for less than $200 a night, that allows pets, and has FREE inclusive breakfast with QUALITY food, I highly recommend staying elsewhere.

I was surprised by $12 for parking. Other than that, Nothing about the facility disappointed us. Maybe I suggest a-one-time parking fee for the entire stay? Your customers may find this method more appropriate and consistent with most hotel's, that I've booked.

Nice place right off the highway. Room was clean and spacious. Was surprised to have to pay for parking and it was more than enough for an overnight stay. Have never had to do this at any other hotel

I called the property before booking to ensure the pool was heated. They said it was. It in fact was not! I would not have stayed here if they would have been honest. Then I inquired about upgrading to the Santa suite and I was told to go to my room and come back later because they front desk guy was unsure. I asked about an hour later and was told I would have to pay for both rooms bc I already entered the other room. The front desk was extremely rude at check out and breakfast time.

Although I did not get the room I reserved, I felt the way this one staff member in particular spoke to in a condescending fashion. In which it made me feel like if I engaged with her at all. I would have started an argument. She does not have a welcoming demeanor or is she approachable for any request I would have want to make.

The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were friendly especially the bartender who was the only person running the bar/restaurant. Very inconvenient to have to pay parking with no heads up before hand, our room was clean aside from the carpet. It had a lot of questionable stains on it.

Asked for adjoining rooms for our family at the time of booking. Get to the hotel for them to tell me that they were booked and it wasn't possible. Our two rooms were split up on different floors, separating our family.(THE KICKER- 1 of the rooms had an adjoining room door) Also, one of the rooms has a broken lockset and we weren't able to lock our room.

I got two king deluxe rooms. One for me and one for my daughter. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Check in was good and smooth, check out the same. There is a $12 overnight parking fee, per vehicle per night. It’s posted at entrance and they tell you at check in. My biggest and only issue is, you are required to pay a deposit upfront, that is returnable. They did not return my deposits and have added another $28 fee to my card! There was no damage or anything to the rooms, we were not in them long enough for anything to happen! I cannot get an explanation from anyone as to why! I keep getting passed to the next person! For this reason I’ll never stay again at any of the Sonestas! And it’s a shame because it was really nice and the staff was great and kind! But never again!
