I love historic charm and this condo was full of it. The location was great, the neighborhood was cute and we felt safe. Parking is on the street, but it’s a quiet street and there was plenty of space.
We stayed here for seven weeks and really enjoyed it. Comfortable, convenient and very close to the downtown area.
Street parking was not an issue and the property was quiet. If ever back in Charlotte, we would book this again.
This was a terrific find in the Elizabeth neighborhood. Walking to morning coffee or dinner at some of the Elizabeth dining hot spots was really fun. It was easy off/on the highway to visit with friends both north and south of Charlotte. I hope this spacious, clean & comfy unit is available for my future visits.
The location of the apartment is great. The tram stop is across the street. The neighborhood is in walking distance of shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious and well lit with a dining room and kitchen which will make any chef happy. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The covered porch is great for morning coffee or happy hour.
We visited Charlotte from Virginia for the first time and booked this apartment for our weekend getaway. It was spotlessly clean and cozy, making it an ideal place for my wife and me to relax. The beautifully decorated interior evoked a nostalgic old-school vibe. The host was incredibly professional and responsive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. If we ever return to Charlotte, we would definitely book again with this host.

Customer service
Good location in a great neighborhood however We requested an early check-in ( 1 hour) and they would not accommodate us. If your competition is the hotel industry, i would suggest some better customer service.

Nice neighborhood. Building old (drafty doors and windows need replacement.) Comfortable furnishings. Very cramped bathroom. Clean and quiet.
Great location. Near lots of good restaurants and some cool shopping. Place is really large for a one bedroom and front balcony is a nice spot to umwind at the end of the day
Great neighborhood, super cozy apartment. The owners made us feel extremely welcome and I didn't want to leave!

The best service of any VRBO
Probably the best customer service of any vrbo I have ever stayed in. They also had a free liquor bar as well as wine and fruits.

Great weekend
Great neighborhood , lots of good places to eat within walking distance, nice decor, and the host is exceptionally good at communicating. He even told us about things to do that particular weekend.
We would stay there again when we are in Charlotte.
We truly enjoyed everything about our stay here. The apartment was in a very convenient location to visit some of our favorite restaurants and attractions in Charlotte. The hosts truly went out of their way to make our stay as inviting as possible. We had some lovely snacks and food to enjoy and they were easily available to assist us with any questions or needs. Thank you for such a comfortable and perfect stay!

This is a wonderful place. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and 4 blocks from the streetcar that takes you directly to the center of the city. The unit is clean and comfortable. We were also surprised by a generous welcome package when we arrived. Access and parking we're very easy.

Exceeded expectations!
This apartment was much bigger than I expected. I stayed here with my husband and our 2 year old. I felt totally at home and comfortable. It's an older home which only adds to the charm! And the hospitality of this rental was better than a hotel! The area of town is super hip. Lots of places to eat and shop. And so close to Downtown Charlotte. I'd definitely stay in another rental with The Home Collection next time I'm in Charlotte.

Hawthore Street
I want to say, great location close to uptown. Easy walk to trolley and free to Uptown trolley Very clean nice balcony for the warm days to have your coffee or a drink. Kitchen well stocked for cooking your own meals. Walking distance to great pizza and many other great places to pick up supplies or eat out.
When I go back to Charlotte I will book again. Did I mention the 2 bottles of wine and the fresh fruit and spaghetti and sauce, they know how to host a guest. Thanks Charlie

We have stayed at this companies properties twice now. We rent weekend vacations all of the time and Jim and his people have exceeded even the most picky of peoples expectations. Last minute booking is a breeze. If you need ANYTHING Jim and his crew will accommodate you. Super comfortable beds, very safe neighborhood....if you want to go to a Panthers game, Carowinds, or even Lake Norman this is the place to stay. They even have several properties to accommodate different needs. Very sincerely

Another great stay with the Home Collection
For the second (and certainly not the last) time in less than 6 months, I've enjoyed a relaxing stay in a Home Collection property. Once again, the property was well appointed with eclectic art and tasteful furnishings; thoughtful amenities such as ironing board and laundry baskets; and of course the welcome package of fresh fruit, pasta and pasta sauce, wine and other adult beverages.
The upbeat residential neighborhood is exceptionally well kept, the neighbors are very active and super friendly, and there are plenty of well run small businesses within walking distance that cater to every need.
As always, my stay was too short, and I look forward to my next stay in a Home Collection property in the fall.

Can't wait to come back!
This was our first time in Charlotte. We can't wait to come back! From the moment we drove by we both knew it was going to be a good experience and we were not disappointed. The apartment was just perfect. Enough room to spread out and cozy enough to snuggle up. The hospitality was above and beyond. We got into Charlotte at 6 am and asked if we could get into the place before 3. They were so gracious to us , they got us in before 11! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We are planning to be back soon and we are looking forward to another wonderful stay at your place!

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood
We rented this apartment to stay in Charlotte for a weekend and play tourist with our teenage daughter. The apartment is south of downtown in a walkable neighborhood. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated. When we arrived, there was music playing and snacks and drinks available for us. We brought our dog and were able to walk him in a nearby park or take him to several local restaurants with outdoor seating. We would particularly recommend Bistro La Bon. Parking is just outside the building and the gold line trolley, which goes uptown is about 4 blocks away and runs about every 10 minutes. The road in front of the apartment is fairly busy but noise at night was not a problem. We spent a day at Carowinds, which is about 20 minutes away and a day at the Mint Museum/uptown. It was a great trip and I would highly recommend this property.
Loved it! The boho chic decor , extremely comfortable king bed, charming unscreened porch perfect for breakfast, and many thoughtful details such as: desk in living room, small coffee bar with stools in kitchen, nonslip mat for shower, plenty of closet space with beautiful wooden hangers, blackout curtains in bedroom and white nose machine, umbrellas in hallway to serve all four units. The very well appointed kitchen included blender, Brita pitcher, colander, cutting boards, knives, flower vases, and welcome food and seasonings. On James's suggestion, we walked down Bay St to see beautiful vintage houses and over to Central Ave shops and International Plaza Midwood. James was very helpful when our car broke down and we needed extra night(s) to get it fixed. He extended us a night in #4 and offered to move us over to #1 for more nights. Now we could relax and enjoy our vacay. When we need lodging in Charlotte again, we'll choose a property that James and Jim own.
