"The Old Lantern inn felt like a home from home. Lisa, the owner is so friendly and the inn itself is beautiful and situated in park-like grounds. The room we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. The dining / sitting area downstairs is beautifully laid out and the perfect place to relax, eat the continental breakfast provided, chat to fellow guests, read or play games. The outside seating area is shaded and another beautiful spot and so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here so much."

"Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. My only hesitation is parking can be interesting as it's entirely on-street, but we always found a spot no further than a block or two away."

It has all the amenities of home with a few bonuses like the hot tub and sauna. We also liked that it's a short walk to the access the lake where you can easily take a dip! "
