"We absolutely love this hotel! The service was unbelievable! The value is great! Picnic basket delivered to your door every morning, wine hour, chocolate chip cookies at night and the most helpful staff! Beautiful rooftop bar restaurant. Free cheese, crackers, nonalcoholic beverages provided in the refrigerator. I would definitely return again."

"We were very pleased with our stay at Mills House Charleston. The property is set in a great location within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We parked our car in the garage next door and didn't need to drive it until we left. The hotel is very well maintained (very comfortable bed/pillows) and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. It was nice to have the option to sit out near the pool and just read/relax and various times throughout our stay as it was quite warm. We had lunch out there twice and it was very enjoyable. We also had breakfast on-site twice and we were very pleased. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The property is well located for downtown activities and dining; walking to most places. Valet parking (pricey) is really the only option, because negotiating suitcases on Charleston uneven sidewalks from a garage is a non-starter. We liked the morning breakfast, and the quiet rooms and comfortable bed, but the standard rooms are very small, making it difficult to open 2 suitcases on the floor, and still have walking room. Overall, though, we liked the property, but if we returned, we would need a larger room."

"This was easily my best hotel stay EVER! This was the cleanest and cutest hotel I have ever been to. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is neighborly and fun! Great for family’s and couples alike. They offer free breakfast delivered right to your room or rooftop whenever you choose and nightly wine&cheese and fresh baked cookies and milk at night! Not only is the hotel itself amazing but the location is also walking distance from every shopping center, bar and restaurant AND it’s right next to a beautiful harbor walk with amazing ocean views. I LOVED this hotel and am so glad i booked it!"

"Room was very clean and a nice size. Bathroom was clean and lots of room for 4 people to share. Room had no refrigerator or microwave which I found odd as I thought that was just standard in most hotels. Beds were comfortable. Would have given 5 stars but weird with no refrigerator. Free breakfast was decent with good scones and coffee everyday. Waffles and oatmeal were good too. Eggs weren’t bad for hotel breakfast. They kept the breakfast well stocked. Walkable to College of Charleston and King street."
