Stayed at the Hyatt Place portion of the property. Clean and in generally good condition. Front desk staffing can be a little thin at times, and no concierge is available to provide information about the area. Free buffet breakfast with a variety of selections is big plus especially for families. Pool also good for families but gym facilities on the small side. Located at the top end of King St with night clubs and some restaurants in the immediate area. Better restaurants and high end stores begin several blocks closer to downtown.

Very nice property and a great breakfast. Staff was apathetic. Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and every staff person I encountered acted as if they did not want to be there.

Great location for visiting downtown Charleston. Close to museums, shops and many wonderful restaurants. Check out the roof top bar at the hotel, Great selection of draft beers!
