"The property is old, but well-Maintained. The batteries did not work in the remote and when I turned on the tv manually, I could not get a signal. The very very loud fire alarms went off at 12:40AM. A restful sleep was not had. The breakfast was good. "

"I'm not from Charleston and let's just say I'm at a different quality inn in Charleston and it's a hell of a lot better than the quality inn that is located at Charleston South!!! And let's also mention that I had to re clean some of the areas and the hotel"

"We were traveling and just needed a place to stop and sleep for 7 hours so this hotel was sufficient for our purposes. The hotel was clean but quite outdated, but that didn’t matter for us at this time. Beds were comfortable and hotel was quiet. Breakfast was mediocre but again was sufficient to get us on our way. Would recommend for similar objectives for a stay. Price was a good value for what we needed. "
