The hotel is convenient, clean and well maintained. However, I was shocked that parking was extra. And charged per night. I soon learned this was normal in the Charleston area, a huge negative for us. The hotel was reasonably priced and the staff was great.

The hotel was very nice and clean. We did have an issue with our AC making a noise but the maintenance man came to check it very quickly. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The Internet went out while my family was there but the staff worked hard to make sure everyone got checked in and taken care of.

So let's call it out, it's not 'near 'the airport. There is another Double Tree that is closer to the airport. The staff was very friendly, and accomodating. Renee at 2 Wrights (bar/restaurant) was covering all the bases for both sides of the 2 Wrights.

The staff was, hands down, helpful and friendly, going beyond the normal customer service and ensured efficient check-in. The grounds are well maintained and free of trash and debris. My only issue was the ants. My room was infested with ants. The AC was noisy and clanky. In addition, the toilet wouldn’t stop running. Over all, it’s a decent place to rest your head and clean-up.

Overall, the stay was good. The housekeeping made sure to change the linens while we were out of the room. There were some minor issues like low water pressure even though we were on the first floor, tiles in the bathroom being chipped, and one of the lampshades had what looked like water stains.

I accidentally booked the wrong airport. I understand that it was my fault. However, when the Expedia rep called to see about changing it to another DoubleTree hotel in the area, he said that he was refused. We were willing to pay extra to get the hotel room nearer the beach in Charleston, but the hotel was not willing to modify the reservation. Very poor customer service from the DoubleTree hotel. Good customer service from Expedia.

Complimentary warm cookies and water! The hotel smelled nice. The bar, pool, and layout of the hotel was great. Room was clean (A+). Don't ever fall off on any if these things. And def keep the check-in and check-out times - I feel like I got my monies worth!!

I only needed a place to sleep for a quick trip. My room was clean and very nice. I wish I had time for the pool! The bar was filled and everyone was having a good time. I was surprised by the $16 parking fee, but the hotel was so cheap it still beat others around it. I would stay here again.
