Located in a quiet, residential community just 12 minutes from Sullivan's Island beach and downtown Charleston, Herons' Haven's provides its guests with a comfortable, home-away-from-home from which you can base your Charleston adventures and live like a local. Even better than Herons' Haven central location is the fact the Planters Place community pool is located just next door to Herons' Haven. Guests of Herons' Haven are welcome to access the community pool, lounge chairs, picnic table and sundeck.

* Live like a local! Herons' Haven is located in a safe & quiet residential neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant with a community pool. The community pool is operated & maintained by the Planters Place home owners association and is open on a seasonal basis -- usually during the months of May through September.

* Convenient location for visiting the beach (10-15 minute drive to Sullivan's Island or Isle of Palms) and downtown Charleston (10-15 minute drive).

* Living room has a flat screen HDTV, DVD player and stereo with CD / iPod dock.

* Free WiFi.

* Full size washing machine & dryer.

* Charcoal BBQ grill available for your use.

* Parking for up to 2 vehicles is included in the rental rate. You may not park more than 2 vehicles at the home at any point during your stay.

* Don't wait in an office to check-in or get a key! Drive straight to your home-away-from-home and enter the front door with a lock code. Prior to your visit, we will send you our mobile app with directions and full instructions.

Guests enter Herons' Haven by walking up the sidewalk, past the front patio area with charcoal grill & outdoor seating and into the front door. Once you enter the front door, you will find a comfortable living room that leads to the dining room & kitchen. From the dining room, you can access the guest bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and the stairwell to the home's second floor. At the top of the stairs on the second floor, you'll find a closet with a full sized washing machine and dryer. You'll also find the home's two master bedrooms -- each with their own en suite bathroom -- on the second floor.

Herons' Haven is a family-friendly home tucked away in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Please be mindful of this residential character of the home during your stay.

The house was beautiful and so comfortable for our group. The location was wonderful, so close to beaches, Charleston and Savannah. We also had great meals at the restaurants on Shem Creek. Highly recommend this property.

We had 3 adults and too teenagers. Was mostly interested in historic sites. Easy access to everything including downtown Charleston. Convenient to grocery stores and good restaurants. House was very nice. And a whole lot cheaper than staying in Charleston.

We had a wonderful time in your beautiful and comfortable home. The location was absolutely perfect, only 8 minutes to the USS Yorktown, to witness our grandson's Naval qualifying ceremony from nuclear power school. He was able to stay with us as well as our daughter and husband. We enjoyed nearby restraunts, LoLa's and several Shem Creek eateries. So near toPublix and Charleston. It's a gem! You thought of everything! Beds were just as beautiful as they were comfortable and we loved the little front deck. We will remember this trip and refer you to other Naval families.. Thank you so much.

Lovely Home!

We loved the location, you just cannot beat it and the pool is right next to this unit. They could replace the carpet upstairs, but the beds are comfy and the pillows are amazing . Great to have 3 full baths in this unit with a bunch of girls. Great little gem!

I don’t know, maybe this … The house was in good condition and is in a nice location. We like having access to the pool next door, and the neighborhood was pleasant and quiet. While the general rule of having six as maximum capacity is somewhat reasonable, the policy should also be relaxed enough to where a few visitors are allowed at times throughout the day.

Great Location!

The house was ideally located to visit Charleston and the surrounding area. We are 3 older women and like our own bedroom and bath. This fit the bill perfectly. The complimentary bottle of wine was great and we enjoyed it! The only problem was the first bedroom at the top of the stairs needs a new mattress - my friend sunk down in it.

Great Place

The home is located in a small, quiet neighborhood that felt safe. Very friendly neighbors and people out walking their dogs. The house is right beside the pool which was great. The beds were comfy, decor was tasteful, everything was clean. Very cute, cozy place to stay. Only a 20-30 minute drive to Shipyard Park where my daughter was playing softball. Only a 10 minute drive to Isle of Palms where there's public access at the beach. Lots of great restaurants nearby. I definitely recommend this place!

Thanksgiving With Family.

I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Steven and Sarah of being such beautiful host. My family and I enjoy the house. It gives a beach house feeling. My daughter wish she could visit the pool but due to the weather I will make it another time LOL. My family was an hour away which is fine. But the outlets, restaurants, Walmart, etc everything you need it's less than 20 min away. The area is very quiet and parking is available. From the time I travel from NJ to SC, Steven was there for me anytime I need him day or night. Thanks for always being there for my stay in SC. One satisfied family

We were completely satisfied with our stay at Herons Haven . The unit is located right next to the pool . The surrounding area has so many options of great restaurants. We traveled back and forth to downtown daily to help move our daughter into college and it was an easy 12 min drive. Much better option than staying downtown. We only wish we would have known about the amazing Italian restaurant within walking distance which will be a MUST on our next visit there . Can’t wait to return!

Great Trip to Charleston 2025

We were in Charleston for our grandsons baseball tournament at the “ Shipyard” baseball facility. This townhouse was perfect for our trip. The location was great and it provided everything we needed as far as accommodations were concerned. It was very clean, roomy, and well stocked. The pool was a great addition also. The staff was so attentive to detail and greatly appreciated . We would definitely stay at Herons Haven again.
