"Atmospheric Chateau but in need of a little upgrading. Staff were great and very helpful. Grounds were excellent to walk round. Breakfast was quite reasonable but dinner was poor value. Definitely plan on eating out. Rooms were huge but our bathroom had only a bath with no shower which given how big it was seemed a little strange. The Chateau is

"Excellent property in a small village. Have stayed here three times & always a pleasure to do so. Dinner is expensive but very good quality - not much else nearby... so treat yourself! Breakfast is excellent - great choices, plenty to have. Maybe not as good as previously... but still very good. The onsite spa / pool is lovely... as are the gardens. If you are travelling north or south past Tours... this is a great place to stop!"

"Easy, secure parking. Naomi the receptionist was extremely welcoming and informative. Room was clean on arrival but we had to ask for more coffee pods. Towels were not changed during our 2 night stay, for eco purposes we were ok with that but if you are fussy about fresh towels daily you’ll probably have to ask. All restaurant staff were lovely, food was good but the menu does not change. Spa area very basic so a bit annoying that after a swim/sauna there are no showers so you have to walk back...

"We stayed last year as a half way stop between our holiday destination and Calais. We really enjoyed coming back for the 3rd time. It’s a lovely quiet location, the hotel reserve a parking space for us as we have the bikes on the roof, we always get a lovely family room. The food wasn’t so good this time, very bland (I had prawns, my husband the salmon ratatouille) the children’s meals are very plain but they eat them and it’s fine. The beds are comfortable and large. Only errors this time was that we requested the bed be made up as a twin and it wasn’t and we had no water when we arrived. "
