"We booked this hotel, last minute for a one night stop off on our way home after a few weeks travelling through Europe and we couldnāt have been happier with our choice.
We booked a classic room (cheapest) and it was superb, the AC worked very well in the heat, the room was huge with a seating area, great bathroom and separate toilet.
We didnāt use the spa but the pool was quiet and very welcoming after a long drive.
The staff all deserve a mention as the service is second to none but the highlight was the evening meal in the restaurant, we had planned to eat on the bistro as we thought the food in the main Michelin guide restaurant would be a bit fancy for us (we love good food but arenāt reay foodies) but as this wasnāt an option due to the bistro being closed we gave it a go and weāre glad we did as it was fantastic. We ended up having a main course and dessert each but this was accompanied by an amous bouche (thinks thatās how you spell it!), a huge hunk of bread and a pallet cleanser between courses, the wine list is extensive and way over my head but we managed to find a lovely bottle of Puilly fuilles to suit our taste and budget!!
I should also mention that the restaurant terrace is beautiful especially when the sun go s down and the lights are on.
Anyway, to summarise - great hotel, fabulous staff and restaurant!!"
