"We’d just arrived from the amazing Newport La Quintana. This Portland branch pales to it! Checked into a room dirty hallway and room, AC did not work, phone line cut and on the floor. They transfers us to another room. Dirtier, closet door was gone off the hinge, phone physically intact but not working. We were exhausted so we made the most of what rest we could have. Someone jiggled doorknob and left. Could hear this progressing down the hall. AC worked until 4am when it hissed on and off then finally died at 4:30AM. I went down to reception and saw someone talking to themself in the hallway while swaging back and forth. I reported this to the guy in the front desk and he approached the person. He lent me a fan. Too late to move, we opened the window but was a bad move as right outside was the highway to the airport! Too noisy. Shut window and thankfully, the dusty fan helped with circulation. Manager is aware of the status of their establishment. Continuous influx of people checking in and out. Young lady at check in is rude. She is also responsible for answering calls, setting up and maintaining breakfast. A impossible situation for her. Dining area: food empty, clients milling around impatiently. Pretty run down over all. Company seems to have turn their backs on this establishment. Will not come back here! Poor maintenance of facilities and room. Poor security. We did not feel safe! Breakfast was wanting and all processed carbs and malfunctioning dispensers."

"The only thing good about this hotel is the proximity to be airport and the very friendly shuttle driver. Our room is very small, dated, terrible bathroom and horrible noise from the train and the road. Paper thin walls and uncomfortable bed. "

"Lobby area is stunning as always. Pool area could definitely use some attention. Lots of rust, and pool area didn’t feel very clean as a whole. definitely surprised and disappointed that we now have to pay to park after already paying to stay at the hotel."

"Beautiful hotel and lobby 😍, room was perfect. Just maybe more towels in the room, especially when 2 people have one towel each. The restaurant is another story. I ordered breakfast for 2 at the Hudson restaurant stated on my receipt for the two egg breakfast that in the description they make it over medium. When I went to pickup them, I was first told that they didn't know how I wanted the eggs done, tried calling me, which there was no calls. Then I thought they'd call my room? The waitress was focused on my eggs that she redid my order to 2 eggs and French toast. I had to remind her with my original order receipt. The way it was handled after waiting 45 minutes due to I assumed forgot about my order and not taking ownership. Hearing the waitress complaining about me, I said something about waiting until I left to do that, she wanted to confront me until a another lady took over and apologized just taking care of my order, ended up comping my order. Food was good and the eggs, really runny or over well. By that point I was hangry, my point is I have been in this industry and had more expectations. The way this young lady handled it, had me thinking that being on the front of the restaurant may not be good for her. Just solve the issue at hand instead of arguing with the customer concerns and take some ownership and just make the customer happy. And to wait until the customer leaves or go in the back to talk bad about the customer. I'd like to stay again but this makes me ?"

"Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here. Although the front desk people were very friendly, neither Expedia or the hotel itself warned us there would be road construction right outside our room until 1 am. All the other guests had already asked to change rooms so we were simply offered earplugs which don’t help much when there is jackhammering going on. The hotel was aware of this and should have contacted us since they were putting us on that side of the hotel. Coffee and tea selections were very minimal in the morning in the lobby as well. Usually Expedia includes all fees in their final price. After we checked out the hotel also included another $60 in city taxes. Thankfully Expedia set it right and gave us a refund for the taxes. "
