In the middle of an enchanting setting, in the shade of centuries-old trees, come and discover Le Domaine de l'Espérouze, in an outbuilding of our old 19th century farmhouse, restored with charm. You can in this 6 hectare property located at the foot of the cliffs of Chantemerle (characteristic of Drôme Provencale) surrounded by fields of lavender and vines, experience a unique moment of relaxation and tranquility. During the warmer months, the swimming pool is available and completes this fantastic place.

Summer holiday

This location is fantastic, lovely house, great pool. We were here with 3 teenagers, maybe a bit remote but the pool makes up for it. Owners were very kind and helpful.

Amazing holiday!

Beautiful location and very very nice owners. We really had an amazing holiday! We enjoyed the nature and the quietness and the many butterflies. Surrounded by nature, enjoying the swimmingpool and the beautiful sunsets. We made a lot of beautiful memories! We hope to come back someday! Thank you very much Cristina and Jehan Charles!

Magical

This is a beautiful house and pool in a beautiful part of the world. My wife and I stayed for a week with our three teenage daughters and our dog and this property was everything we could have hoped for. The view is stunning and breakfast on the terrace was the perfect start to our day. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed our visits from jeep and django their gorgeous dogs. We can recommend this property highly and hope to stay again in the future.

French country

Beautiful property in a rural setting yet close to Grignon for groceries, shops and restaurants. You should expect things that come with a country property like a few spider webs, bees, and lizards. We loved it and even though owners were traveling we were able to keep contact when a storm caused a power outage. Language barrier can be an issue if you don’t speak French but overall a lovely place.

Lovely farmhouse in rural Provence

We spent a wonderful week at this very special property outside Chantemerle-les-Grignan. The house has two bedrooms with adjoining baths and is tastefully decorated by the property owners, one of whom is an artist. The grounds include trails through the forest and the property is surrounded by lavender fields. The swimming pool is huge but is frequented by bees. Highly recommend this property and this location, however, it is not appropriate for those allergic to bee stings.

Magnifique ....hors canicule !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour . L endroit est magnifique et les propriétaires très accueillants. 3 points méritent d'être précisés : La maison n'est pas climatisée , nous avons eu 2 ventilateurs mobiles (compliqué de dormir en période de canicule) La maison ne dispose pas de volets La piscine, superbe, est très proche de la maison des propriétaires. Il faudra que nous revenions en période moins chaude pour bien profiter du parc et visiter pleinement les environs.

Belle maison environnée de verdure et bien ombragée

Nous avons passé un long week-end d'automne très agréable dans cette belle maison bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur bon accueil. La vue sur les champs de lavande, et les bois est très agréable. Le temps doux nous a permis de déjeuner dehors chaque jour au soleil tamisé par les arbres (nous n'avons pas eu besoin des deux pergolas, certainement agréables en été) Nous avons apprécié pouvoir nous promener à pied dans les bois et clairières depuis la maison. Les villages alentours sont très beaux et accueillants et permettent des visites et randonnées variées. Nous espérons pouvoir profiter à nouveau de cette belle maison lors d'un prochain séjour à la belle saison. Pascal et Sylvie

Herbsttage

Das charmante Ferienhaus liegt auf einem sehr großen Naturgrundstück mit vielen alten Bäumen in Sichtweite zum Haus des Besitzers. Man ist nicht allein, die hilfsbereiten Besitzer versorgten uns jederzeit mit vielen Tipps und Hinweisen. Für unseren Hund und unsere Katze war es ideal, zumal man auch direkt vom Haus schöne Spaziergänge machen kann, wenn Mensch und Tier sich gegen die vielen Stechmücken, darunter auch Tigermücken, gewappnet haben. Das hat das Draußensein ziemlich beeinträchtigt. Die Einrichtung des Hauses entspricht den Fotos. Es gibt Schlafplätze für 5 Personen. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind ausreichend vorhanden. Entgegen der Beschreibung gab es jedoch keinen Trockner (laut Besitzer gibt es keinen Platz dafür). Die Wäsche muss deshalb in einem Schuppen getrocknet werden. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt betrifft die notdürftige Küchenausstattung, die gewisse Anforderungen an das Improvisationstalent des Kochs stellt. Immerhin wurden zwei fehlende Deckel für die 3 Kasserolen umgehend besorgt. Es gibt viel zu entdecken in der Umgebung, hilfreich waren für uns die Outdoor App Komoot und der franz. Michelin Führer Ardeche /Drome. Unseren vierwöchigen Urlaub mussten wir leider vorzeitig abbrechen, da wir sehr krank geworden sind. Wir danken Christina und Jehan für den freundlichen Empfang.

Idyllische Lage mit rieeeesigem Pool

Es war einfach traumhaft schön 😍 Die ganze Lage, das Haus war superschön, genau wie auf den Bildern, der Pool war so gross, dass wir Längen schwimmen konnten & die Vermieter, welche direkt daneben wohnen, waren sehr hilfsbereit & zuvorkommend 😍 wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😍♥️

Paradijsje!!

Bij aankomst een leuk ontvangst van de gastheer Jehan Charles. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien en blijft heerlijk koel als de temperatuur hoog oploopt. Wij waren op zoek naar rust en ruimte en dat hebben we hier zeker gevonden. Ook onze hond had het hier prima naar zijn zin. Uitzicht vanaf je terras op de lavendelvelden en als je geluk hebt zie je een gier overvliegen of een ree voorbij rennen. Het is een bijzondere plek op een prachtig landgoed en beheert door 2 hele lieve mensen Jehan Charles en Cristina die voor je klaarstaan. Bedankt nogmaals voor jullie gastvrijheid en hopelijk tot volgend jaar!!

Séjour fantastique, cadre idyllique

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison et son extérieur étaient au delà de nos espérances, remplis de charme. Nous y étions en famille avec nos trois enfants, tout est très adapté pour chaque âge. La maison est très fonctionnelle, la literie excellente et les électroménagers aussi. On s'y sent comme chez soi. Elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, des peintures magnifiques. Et la cerise sur le gâteau... la cheminée et les flambées du soir avec du bois ramassé dans le domaine. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Nous recommandons vraiment les yeux fermés et nous profitons de cette appréciation pour remercier encore les propriétaires. Mathilde, Xavier et leurs trois garçons.

Herrlich ruhig

Wir waren zum Jahreswechsel dort und genossen die herrliche Ruhe. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen wie Rhonetal, Ardèche, Drôme oder auch ans Meer. Restaurants und Einkaufszentren sind in der Nähe. Leider muss man zum Bäcker mit dem Auto. Die Gastgeber sind unkompliziert und geben gute Tipps. Vielen Dank. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Spaziergänge sind direkt vom Haus aus möglich. Im Haus ist alles was man brauch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Un havre de paix

Quelle détente ! Un cadre magnifique, en pleine nature, forêt de chênes truffiers, falaises impressionnantes, champs de lavande en contrebas, intérieur du gîte meublé et décoré avec énormément de goût par Cristina. Nous avons été reçus très chaleureusement et notre week-end prolongé de la Toussaint nous a fait un bien fou. Avec des envies d'y revenir aux beaux jours...
