We loved this hotel. It was very clean and nice and in a very convenient location. We could walk anywhere we wanted in downtown Chania in a few minutes! Maria was so kind and helpful.

Great stay, great host

Bed and sheets were comfortable and the shower didn’t leak all over the bathroom floor like in some European bathrooms. I didn’t expect to use the hot tube as much as I did, but it seemed to be programmed for colder during the day and hotter at night, which was inviting, especially in July. Perfect location, in the middle of everything in Chania, but a bit hard to drive to after the pedestrian roads are closed to cars. All in all, great visit and the host even met me at midnight on my first night to make sure I had everything I needed. Class act and extremely hospitable.

With this flat I was based right in the city centre but still also close to the beach. The room was beautiful and room sercice is included. Service by Maria was always super fast and super helpful. Thank you for arranging airport transfer, late checkout etc.. Overall, I was really happy.

Best word to describe our stay is "Magical". From our host Maria, to the very modern room, to the private roof top terrace with hot tub and lounge area, to being right in the heart of Old Town Chania - it was all magical. Maria was amazing from the very beginning when she personally met us as we arrived with the transfer she arranged for us from the airport, to the end when she arranged our transfer to return home. Maria was very responsive and helpful through our 10 day stay in Chania, arranging transportation for us if we needed it, booking activities, and providing recommendations on food and sites to visit. The room was impeccably clean, and kept clean by the very friendly and helpful cleaning staff. The private terrace with its perfectly maintained hot tub was our personal piece of paradise when all we wanted to do was kick back and relax. The views from the terrace were amazing. Location - location - location !!! We were only minutes from Chania's Venetian harbour with all its sites, shops and restaurants. On days when we didn't know what to do, we just went walking through all the narrow streets and alleyways, always discovering new wonders. Last but not least, the furnished balcony, was the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day or after supper, to have a night cap and people watch tourists and locals on the cobble stone street below. We HIGHLY recommend staying at Copal Simple Staying, especially if you can get Room 6 - the one with the private terrace :)

The room itself is excellent for a short stay. -- bathroom right next to your bed, separated by glass door, in case that bothers you. The staircase is very narrow and almost no public area, it is not friendly for kids/senior/disabled in my opinion. Location is great, very close to bus station, restaurants, and people are friendly and helpful.
