Despite being close to the city of Tours, the campground was in a quiet setting (during the day!) and easy to get in and out. The weird part started during our check-in process. "My family and I had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable house. There was everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. The house and property have a lot of history, and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. "This is a lovely rustic country house on an acreage minutes away from Amboise. The hostess Marie-Josephe is a lovely woman who is very generous with her produce from her garden and fruit trees. Her free range chickens are entertaining and the eggs are delicious! We would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, out of the way location, yet within minutes to Amboise, the Chateau, restaurants, and vineyards!"
