"It's well located near gorgeous villages, and the garden is beautiful. We had a lovely meal in the garden as the sun set - the exterior of the house is very atmospheric. However, the interior is in desperate need of modernising. The kitchen is rather make-shift and poorly equipped, and the bathroom is tired. With a bit of thought put in (new kitchen/bathroom) and a good clean, the property could be amazing. But for us the big problem was the steep stairs and unsafe rail at the top of the stairs...

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house in a wonderful location. Our hosts Eliane and Richard were super friendly and helpful whilst remaining discreet and totally respecting our privacy. The house is lovely, very clean and well equipped, everything you need to self cater, comfortable beds and a log burner (which we didn’t need) for chilly evenings. "This property should not be on vrbo site or advertised hosts were very pleasant on the phone as we were arriving late evening , very hard to find the property no number on the gate description is totally wrong near park and shops it was more like on an industrial site , eventually got into the property and was very very disappointed cleanliness was awful there was no lounge to sit and relax just two bedrooms , the bedding was appalling and was certainly not up to standard then to top it all...

"The cottage is absolutely lovely and has everything one needs for a short or longer stay. Robert is a kind, considerate and generous host who gave us vegetables from his garden when we arrived. We had a great week there and enjoyed the quiet, rural location and private nature of the cottage and enclosed garden. We will definitely return! Highly recommended. "

"Une maison, c'est vrai un peu vieillotte mais où l'on s'y sent très bien, chacun son espace, des espaces pour être ensemble. Bien équipée, spcieuse, des fenêtes comme des tableaux sur la nature et un magnifique environnement bien entretenu. Accueil sympathique. Un seul petit bémol sur l'entretien de la piscine qui n'avait visiblement pas été fait pour notre arrivée. Seule une personne a osé se baigner."
